When summarising how beneficial Photobiomodulation (PMB) aka Red Light Therapy is I advise "it increases all cellular function".
Below Ai is explaining why my vitamin B! levels are elevated with good kidney function.
In reviewing the clinical literature on whole-blood thiamine assays, I noted that roughly 90% of circulating Vitamin B1 is held intracellularly within red blood cells (RBCs). High-power, systemic PBM therapy has well-documented effects on the hematological system that may be artificially elevating my whole-blood readings:
1. Increased Erythrocyte Integrity: PBM has been shown to increase the structural stability of red blood cells and reduce hemolysis, potentially leading to a higher density of intact, thiamine-carrying cells in circulation.
2. Hemoglobin Concentration & Nitric Oxide Vasodilation: Systemic near-infrared light stimulates local nitric oxide release, expanding blood volume and local hemoglobin concentrations. A higher concentration of red blood cells at the draw site naturally inflates the whole-blood B1 count.
