We are hiring for an Operations Manager in NSW!

If you are looking for the leadership role that will define your 2027, you just found it.

You probably got into this work because you care about the people behind the roster. But somewhere along the way, the job often turns into plugging gaps, chasing paperwork, and being the person everyone calls when something breaks.

We want to give you back the reason you started.
At Axis Supports, you will lead our NSW operations with the autonomy to make real decisions and a team that actually shares the load. Since 2017, as a registered NDIS provider, we have grown steadily rather than quickly. This means our compliance and scheduling systems are already mature, our North Strathfield workspace is established, and you will be stepping in to refine and lead, not starting from scratch.

What you will do

Drive the NSW Operation: Step far beyond just managing a roster. You will steer the strategic direction and daily performance of our NSW region, balancing workforce planning, service quality, financial health, and participant outcomes.

Maintain Operational Excellence (Without the Headache): Apply your deep knowledge of the SCHADS Award and NDIS Practice Standards without the manual grind. We utilise smart apps and automated workflows to make compliance a seamless background process rather than a daily burden.

Empower Your Team: Back your team leaders and frontline staff, fostering a supportive environment where good people want to stay.

Lead with Empathy: Act as the decisive, fair point of escalation to resolve complex concerns with participants and their families.

What you can expect from us

Cross-Sector Career Growth: We are more than just an NDIS provider. We operate a sister Aged Care company and a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). As we scale, your scope can too, offering genuine pathways for cross-sector development and group-level leadership.

Dedicated Resourcing: Two full-time assistants to ensure your focus remains on high-level decisions and strategy, not routine admin. A corporate credit card.

True Autonomy: Real authority over your jurisdiction, backed by a leadership team that trusts your calls.

Premium Tools: A new electric work vehicle and a modern office close to the train, complete with your own parking spot.

Work-Life Boundaries: A shared on-call structure so your evenings actually belong to you.

Who we are looking for
You will thrive in this role if you have a proven track record leading broad disability or community services operations. You know the legislation, you are comfortable using modern tech stacks to drive efficiency, and you maintain a calm, methodical approach when the day doesn’t go to plan.

If you are ready for a leadership role that actually lets you lead, send us your resume along with a few lines about what matters most to you in your next position. We look forward to hearing from you.

💚 Steptember at Axis Supports – Small Steps, Big Impact! 🚶‍♀️🥦

To remind ourselves of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, our team celebrated Steptember with a series of fun, meaningful and rewarding weekly challenges!

From cooking colourful meals packed with different vegetables, getting outdoors and enjoying the fresh air while tackling our steps challenge, to taking a moment to reflect on what we’re grateful for, our team embraced each challenge with enthusiasm and positivity. 🌈👟🌿

In an industry where we are so passionate about supporting others and giving so much of ourselves to our participants, it was wonderful to take a step back and focus on our own health, wellbeing and connection as a team.

A huge thank you to our Operations Manager, Winnie, for leading this fantastic initiative and encouraging everyone to get involved!

At Axis Supports, we know that looking after ourselves helps us continue to deliver the best possible support to others. ❤️

💚 Want to join the Axis Supports family?

We’re always excited to connect with passionate people who want to make a difference! If you’re looking for a rewarding career or need assistance with Support Coordination or Direct Supports, we’d love to hear from you.

❤️ More than a team — we’re a family. ❤️

One of the things we love most about our Axis Supports family is how wonderfully multicultural we are. Different cultures, different backgrounds, different stories — but one team, supporting one another and the people we care for.

At a recent team luncheon, we were incredibly proud to watch our wonderful Fonseka sisters, Rachael and Rozaine, sing the Sri Lankan National Anthem. 🇱🇰❤️

It was one of those special moments that reminds us how much culture, family and connection matter.

At Axis Supports, we celebrate what makes each of our team members unique. We share our traditions, our food, our stories, our laughs — and sometimes even a song or two! 🎶

Because being part of Axis Supports is about more than coming to work. It’s about belonging. It’s about looking out for each other. And it’s about being part of a true family.

We’re very lucky to have such a beautiful, diverse team. ❤️

And now, we’d love to welcome more people into our family.

🌟 Join our family!

Support Coordination is personal. ❤️

It’s about building trust.
Building a bond.
Building goals together.

It’s not just a phone call when someone has time once a month.
It’s not about ticking a KPI or hitting a billing target.
It’s personal.

At Axis Supports, that starts from day one.

We begin with a personal meeting — getting to know the participant, what matters to them, where they want to go and what they want to achieve and who THEY want to partner with.

We look at the things that really matter:
✔️ Gender
✔️ Age
✔️ Personality
✔️ Experience
✔️ Skills and expertise
✔️ Interests and goals
✔️ The right personal fit

And the relationship doesn’t stop there.

Our Support Coordinators are involved in their participants’ lives. That might mean heading out for a game of golf, grabbing lunch, attending a football match or simply being there for the important moments.

Because sometimes it’s those moments outside the paperwork and phone calls that make the biggest difference.

That’s the personal difference.

When you know the person, understand their goals and build the right team around them, you’re not just coordinating supports — you’re working together to achieve goals.

Our Support Coordination team (level 2&3) currently has capacity available across Greater Sydney, Wollongong, Southern Highlands and the ACT for all ages.

If you’re looking for Support Coordination that puts the person before the process, I’d love to have a chat.

Why does choosing a Registered NDIS Provider matter? 🤔

When you're looking for support, it’s important to know that not all providers are the same.

Being a Registered NDIS Provider means a provider has met specific requirements and standards set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. It means there are systems, policies and processes in place to help ensure participants receive safe, quality and reliable supports.

So, why is this important? 👇

✅ Quality and safety standards
🛡️ Safeguards and accountability
👥 Supported and appropriately screened teams
📋 Clear processes and participant rights
💙 Greater peace of mind

Being registered isn't just a logo or a box to tick. For us, it represents a commitment to providing safe, reliable and quality support to the people we work with.

At Axis Supports, we're proud to be a Registered NDIS Provider and to support participants, families and professionals across our communities.

Need support coordination, core supports, accommodation assistance or have questions about your NDIS options?

💛 R U OK?

Today is R U OK? Day — but the question is one we should be asking all year round.

In our industry, we spend so much time checking in on the people we support that sometimes we forget to check in on the people beside us.

A quick coffee.
A walk and a chat.
A message saying, “How are you really going?”
Or simply taking the time to listen.

You don't need to have the perfect words or be able to fix everything. Sometimes, just knowing someone cares can make a bigger difference than we realise.

At Axis Supports, we’re lucky to have a team that looks out for each other, supports our participants and isn’t afraid to ask the important questions.

So today, check in with your colleagues, your friends, your family — and maybe even the person who always says they're "fine". 💛

R U OK?

And if the answer isn't OK, make the time to listen.
