🌈 Community outings aren’t just about “getting out of the house”..... they’re about connection, joy, and creating memories.
Last week, our participants enjoyed:
✔ A trip to the local markets
✔ A picnic by the beach
✔ A swimming session (with lots of laughs!)
Where should we go next? 😄

⚡ For families and carers:

Supporting someone with a psychosocial disability can sometimes feel overwhelming. Here are three gentle reminders:

-It’s okay to ask for help.

-Taking breaks isn’t selfish—it’s necessary.

-Progress isn’t always linear, but it’s always worth celebrating.

Our team is here to walk alongside both clients and families.

🍳 Cooking with clients is always an adventure!

Sometimes the pancakes are perfectly fluffy
other times they’re a little “creative.”
Either way, it’s about building skills, having fun, and sharing a meal together.

Independence looks different for everyone.
For one person, it may mean cooking a meal with minimal assistance.
For another, it may be learning how to budget their NDIS funds.
And for someone else, it might simply be feeling confident enough to go out in the community.

There’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach and we wouldn’t want it any other way. At Support and Therapy at Home, we celebrate every milestone, no matter how small it may seem.

Sometimes support isn’t about doing things for someone. It’s about walking alongside them until they’re ready to do it themselves.
At Support and Therapy at Home, that’s exactly what we do.

What Is Executive Functioning?
It’s the brain’s way of planning, organising, remembering, and managing time. For some people, this is the biggest barrier, not motivation, not ‘laziness’.
