💙 NDIS CHANGES — WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Securing the NDIS for Future Generations Act 2026 is now law, with changes being introduced progressively.

The reforms include changes around:
✔️ NDIS eligibility & supports
✔️ Plan reassessments & planning
✔️ Fraud and compliance
✔️ NDIS governance

Some funding changes also begin from 1 October 2026.

💙 MYTH OR FACT? 💙

Myth: You have to stay with the same NDIS provider for your entire plan.

Fact: If your current provider isn’t meeting your needs, you can choose a different provider (subject to your service agreement). The NDIS is built on choice and control, giving participants the freedom to access supports that best align with their goals and preferences.

At Life Focus Care, we believe informed participants make empowered decisions. We’re here to provide reliable, person-centred support and help you understand your options every step of the way.

They’re measured by how well they support someone to do more for themselves.

Sometimes that means offering guidance instead of taking over.
Sometimes it means being patient while someone learns a new skill.
And sometimes it simply means listening.

Independence looks different for everyone, and that’s okay.
