Another awesome Adventure with awesome Adventurers😎
It was "Choose your own Adventure" day today, giving the Squad a chance to use some of the skills they've built and work together to decide and plan our Adventure😃
We caught up for breakfast and the Squad decided on heading north to Yamba, so we hit the road 🚗🚙🚗
Sticking with tradition, the first Squad day after winter we brave the water, well it wasnt hard today as it was such an amazing day.
A few of us took a dip in the ocean pool 🌊🏖. After spending the day hanging out and having fun, we had a late picnic lunch and then headed home.
Road trip sing alongs ensued, Saturdays exploring our beautiful surrounds are Saturdays done right ✅️

Another awesome day with awesome people 😀
With spring in full flight we were lucky today and got to see a cool moment in nature 🌱
While we walked along Look at Me Now headland we spotted a large Bearded Dragon posturing near the path, bobbing up and down and flicking is tail, I knew there must be a other near by, and just down the hill there was another, much larger Bearded Dragon posturing and showing off. Thinking this was a territorial battle we stopped to watch in awe, its not often you get to see a Bearded Dragon in the wild, let alone two!
As we watched the BIG guy kept coming closer and closer, then when the smaller of the two realised it was out matched it slowly crept into the taller grass, we assumed it was hiding to avoid any physical altercation with the much larger one, who had his beard out on full display, bobbing and flicking his tail, he looked like he meant business. 🦎🦖
Once he was close enough he ran full speed towards the smaller Dragon, and we thought oh no this could be trouble!
Annnnd it turns out the weren't fighting, they were flirting, so we moved on and gave them space 🤣
It was an amazing experience, its not every day you get to see such a rare natural event 🦖🦎🌱

Another awesome day with awesome people 😀
Life is about new experiences and trying new things, and sometimes they dont go as planned, but thats all part of the Adventure 😎😎😎
After a big gym session we went for a healthy post gym meal and decided to try the hot sauce 🔥 🌶 (it was not my decision, I might add 😅 )
We lived and we learned that we're not fans of this particular hot sauce 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, hashing- life lessons 😋

Another awesome morning with awesome people 😀
The week the Wednesday morning breakfast catch-up crew kicked off hump day with breakfast at Cafe , one of the Squads favourite places to catch up 😃😄😁😃 Social well-being is an important part of life, for everyone. Having meaningful community connections reduces loneliness, boost mental health, and builds everyday confidence. Through active social participation, our participants develop essential life skills, like improved understanding of interpersonal relationships, that support them in creating lasting friendships and creating healthy social networks, that give our participants a true sense of belonging and purpose.
😁😄

Another awesome day with awesome people 😀
Its not always fun and Adventures, well it is because life is an Adventure, and its always fun even when we're not doing the "fun stuff" 🤣
Our monthly reminder that we do a lot more that just Adventures, building capacity and life skills is a massive part of all our programs, all the fun and Adventure is just bonus 🥰
