Hi All!

I am pleased to introduce Jodie as the newest member of the Keep Connected Support Coordination team.

Jodie joins us with an exceptional depth of experience and a professional background that strengthens our capacity to support participants with highly complex needs. She holds multiple Diploma level qualifications in the community services sector. Her specialised training and expertise make her an invaluable addition to our organisation.

Across 12 years in the disability sector, Jodie has supported people with diverse and complex presentations, bringing a calm, knowledgeable and trauma‑informed approach to her work. For the past 7 years, she has delivered both Support Coordination and Specialist Support Coordination, helping participants understand their plans, navigate systems, and coordinate the supports they need to live safely and meaningfully in the community.

Jodie’s arrival strengthens our commitment to delivering high‑quality, participant‑centred support. She will be working closely with our team, providers, and networks to ensure continuity of care and robust coordination for the individuals and families we serve.

Please join me in welcoming Jodie to Keep Connected Support Coordination!!!

Looking ahead at Keep Connected!

There are some important changes happening within the NDIS, and we know that change can sometimes feel uncertain.

The Australian Government has introduced new NDIS legislation, with further changes planned over the coming years. One of the major changes for Support Coordination is the proposed introduction of a new Support Coordination and Connection (SCC) service from 1 July 2028. The final design of this service is still being developed, and the Government is currently consulting with participants, families, providers and the wider disability community.

At Keep Connected, we see this as an opportunity to continue looking forward and making sure we are ready for the future.
We have submitted our consultation paper regarding the proposed new SCC and SCC+ model. We have shared our experience, our understanding of what participants need and our thoughts on how future Support Coordination can continue to provide high-quality, personalised support.

Over the coming years, Keep Connected plans to continue expanding our team and our capacity so that we can support more people while maintaining the quality, personal approach that our participants know and value.

We will continue to keep our participants informed as more details about the NDIS changes become available. We know there are still many questions about what Support Coordination will look like from 2028, and some important details are yet to be decided.

For now, it is business as usual for our participants. You can continue to work with us and access your current supports as you normally would.

We’re excited about the future of Keep Connected and, most importantly, about continuing to provide high-quality support to the people we are privileged to work alongside.
