🎤 Did someone say ENCORE?! 🎤

Last week, Way Out West hosted our first-ever Winter Fest, and let's just say... we totally crushed it! It was a massive success, and we are still smiling (and recovering from all those epic dance moves). 💃🕺

We need to take a second to give the biggest, loudest, most megaphone-worthy shoutout to the absolute legend that is Kerry Ellen (and Dean... you're a legend too, Dean! 😉). Not only did they generously share their time and equipment to make the magic happen, but Kerry absolutely BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN with her SENSATIONAL singing voice! Seriously, we are checking to see if she's secretly a pop star in hiding. 🌟

Between the killer vocals, the unstoppable dance floor energy, and the sheer volume of sausage sangas we all happily inhaled 🌭, it was a day for the history books.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to sing, dance, and eat with us. We are already counting down the days until we can do it all again next year!

Just another wonderful, wildy month with the crew! ✨
Here’s a little peek:
🕵️‍♂️ Treasure Hunters: We broke out the metal detector! After a solid 10 minutes of suspenseful digging, we finally unearthed our grand prize... an old Coke can! 😂 Hey, it’s all about the thrill of the chase, right?
🦜 Nature Calls: Nicole made some new noisy friends. (Almost as noisy as she is)
❄️ Let It Go!: We went and watched the incredible stage show of Frozen! It was such a spectacular time experiencing the magic of the theatre together.
🎂 Cake, Anyone?: Happy birthday Jackson and Tyson!
🐦 Going Rogue: Kai went totally off-script and bought a Pink Canary! Everyone, please welcome the newest (and best-named) member of the family: Meryl Cheep the Wownary. 💖

How can you be anything other than completely happy when every day is as good as this? 🥰

Being average is highly overrated. 😉
If you want a quiet, serious environment... you might want to look elsewhere. But if you want pure, unfiltered joy (and some highly questionable fashion choices), we are your people!
A quick breakdown of the absolute chaos:
High Fashion: Traffic cones are officially the new peak couture. 🚦🎩

The Talent: Pretty sure we're ready to headline a stadium tour after those guitar sessions. 🎸🎤

Art History: Move over Picasso, that marbled blue duck is a masterpiece. 🎨🦆

The Diet: Fueled entirely by sushi, ice cream, and immaculate vibes. 🍣🍦

We love our WOW family and the incredible energy everyone brings to the space every single day. Life is never boring around here!

🎪 Sights, heights, and big smiles at the 2026 Dubbo Show! 🍿

The WOW crew had the absolute best time exploring everything the show had to offer. We braved the heights on the giant swings, zoomed around in the dodgems, tried our luck at the carnival games, and made some furry friends along the way! 🎡🦙
There is truly nothing better than a day full of non-stop laughs with our incredible WOW family. 🥰

Our foundation is built on trust, friendship, and so much love. We aren't just an organization; we are the WOW family, and together, we are absolutely unstoppable. ❤️

🚨 PLEASE SHARE / HELP IDENTIFY 🚨

Does anyone recognize the two people in these photos/security footage who broke into our day centre last night?

We are going to have some very sad participants today. Absolutely all of the tools, which they worked so hard to purchase with their own money, have been taken from them. 😔💔

Just to clear up any questions:

🔒 Yes, the gates were all locked.

🔒 Yes, the tools were locked securely away.

😡 Yes, they still chose to break into our yard and steal from our community.

Any information, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. Please message us directly or contact the police if you know anything.

We have some very exciting news to share about a familiar face!
Georgie was one of our original participants, and over the years, we’ve had the absolute privilege of watching her smash her goals and work incredibly hard. Today, we are so proud to announce that Georgie is officially a member of the WOW staffing team! 🎉
Georgie has been employed as our new Admin Assistant—she even has her own desk in the office and is already getting to work! 💻✨
