Ground Up Support

Tonight’s sponsor shoutout goes to these absolute legends… Leigh and Margie from Ground Up Support

When Leigh and Margie heard about the vision behind Gaduu Mudjis, they were the FIRST to jump on board and help turn that vision into reality! These two were our very first sponsors of the year and helped get us up and running and officially registered. Without them, we wouldn’t have even gotten this little dream off the ground!

For those who live in Eden, you’ll know Leigh and Margie and what absolute legends they are. They are the kind of people who are always giving back to our little community and supporting our kids in any way they can.

But their support goes far beyond sponsorship. These two have been huge drivers behind the scenes, helping make this little club what it is today.

Margie is our unofficial team hype lady, backing the vision, spreading the word and supporting the club every chance she gets. And Leigh is the man behind those Friday night raffles and one of our biggest supporters from day one!

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again… we genuinely wouldn’t be here without people like Leigh and Margie. ❤️

It takes a community to make something like this happen, and having people who believe in the vision just as much as we do means more than words can explain.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU both for backing us, believing in us and helping create something special for our kids.

OUR FIRST GAME IS TOMORROW @ 9AM 👀🏐🔥

So proud!

9 SPONSORS. ONE AMAZING COMMUNITY!

In just 5 days, our Gaduu Mudjis will take the court at the Charlestown Koori Netball Carnival for the very first time!

This journey is about more than netball. It’s about culture, connection, identity and creating opportunities for our kids and without our amazing sponsors it wouldn’t be possible.

So to our 9 incredible sponsors THANK YOU!

Your generosity has helped make this dream a reality, supporting our deadly team with uniforms, travel, accommodation and the opportunity to represent their culture and community with pride.

You haven’t just supported a netball team. You’ve invested in our kids, our community and the connections we’re building through sport and culture.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for backing our little team and being part of something bigger than the game.

More than a team. A connection. A culture. A community.

We’re incredibly proud and excited to be sponsoring the Gaduu Mudjis! 💙

Such a special team, bringing together culture, community, sport and some amazing young people. We’re so proud to play a small part in supporting their journey to the Koori Knockout!

Go Gaduu Mudjis! 🏐🌊

💙SPONSOR APPRECIATION💙

Our next appreciation post goes to our four amazing sponsors who have come on board to support the Gaduu Mudji’s.

Your generosity has helped turn a dream into reality. Because of your support, our players will be able to travel to Newcastle and proudly take the court wearing uniforms that represent our culture, community and the Far South Coast.

A massive thank you to you all!!

Social media has taken a bit of a back seat lately, but for good reason.

When we started Ground Up Support, we never expected word of mouth to be as strong as it has been. We’re incredibly grateful for the trust, recommendations and support we’ve received from our community.

To our existing clients and those who have recently joined us — thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives.

At the moment, we’re close to capacity for ongoing supports, however we’d still love to hear from you. Whether you’re looking for support now or in the near future, please reach out. We’re always happy to chat about upcoming availability, waitlists and future opportunities.

We also have some exciting plans for later this year and hope to expand our capacity to support even more people.

In such a big industry, we’ve learnt what real support looks like.

It’s thoughtful, consistent, and centred around the person — always. 🌱

29/04/2026

At Ground Up Support, we’ve been quietly doing what we do—showing up, building trust, and supporting people in ways that actually make a difference.

For those who are new here, we’re an independent, person-centred support service based on the Far South Coast. We work alongside individuals and families to provide consistent, hands-on support that focuses on real life—daily routines, community access, building confidence, and creating meaningful independence.

We keep things small on purpose. It allows us to stay present, flexible, and genuinely connected to the people we support.

As things shift and grow, we currently have some availability within our team.

If you, a family member, or someone you work with is looking for support that’s reliable, down-to-earth, and built around the individual—feel free to reach out for a chat.

No pressure, just a conversation.

The goal isn’t perfection — it’s progress that actually sticks. ✔️

We focus on building confidence in the everyday, so over time things feel less overwhelming and more natural.

It’s about creating routines, trust in yourself, and a bit more independence each step of the way.

If you’d like to access our services or have a chat about how we can support you, feel free to send us a message or email us anytime 🌱
