It is a slow treatment, and that is worth knowing before you book. The first week is settling, with some swelling, tenderness or bruising, so we allow 3 to 7 days for it. The change comes in the weeks after that.

PRF is prepared from a small sample of your own blood, spun to concentrate the platelets and fibrin, then placed where the skin needs support. Under the eyes it's used to soften lines and restore a little volume, in an area that asks for a gentler approach than most.

If the microneedling post earlier this month made sense to you, this is the same idea taken a step further. Your skin does the repairing either way.

Worth knowing before you book. Downtime is around three to five days, discomfort is low, and it suits all skin tones.

Both photographs taken under the same light and angle, with no filters and no retouching, and shared with consent. This is one person's result, and yours would depend on your skin and what you're treating. Sandra will talk you through whether it suits you at consultation.
