🎃👻 Midway's Trunk or Treat 2026 👻🎃

What a fantastic day at Midway's Trunk or Treat event today! 🎉

Everyone embraced the Halloween spirit, enjoying the creativity, costumes, games, treats and plenty of smiles. Our decorated vehicles were transformed into spooky, colourful, and imaginative displays, creating a safe and enjoyable trick-or-treat experience for everyone.

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, showing off their costumes, connecting with friends and creating lasting memories. Events like these are a great reminder of the importance of community, inclusion and having fun together.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise, decorate, volunteer and attend. Your enthusiasm and effort made the day a huge success!

Yesterday Amy and Mel attended the 'Ready Set Connect' event run by Kismet at the Lane Group Stadium (Peel Thunder).

It was a great opportunity to connect with other providers and hear about initiatives and supports available within the sector. They both came away with some useful ideas and contacts that will benefit our teams and the people we support.

We are excited to introduce Madison Carlin as our new Workplace Health & Safety Officer and are pleased to report that they arrived hazard-free (following a thorough risk assessment, of course).

Maddy joins Midway with a passion for keeping our people safe, supporting our teams, and helping ensure we continue to deliver outstanding care and support to our participants.

While they'll be helping us navigate all things safety, their real focus is supporting our people. In disability services, safety isn't just about compliance. It's about creating environments where our staff and participants can thrive, feel supported, and go home safely each day.

We're thrilled to have you join the Midway team Maddison. Welcome aboard! 🎉💙🦺

🎤🌟 Midway Idol 2026 was a huge success! 🌟🎤

What an incredible day filled with laughter, music, confidence and plenty of fun! Performers took to the stage and wowed the audience with their enthusiasm, talent and courage, creating a truly memorable event for everyone involved.

A huge congratulations to Zac, who took out the Solo Performer Award with an outstanding performance that had the crowd cheering! 🎶🏆

Congratulations also to Hayley & Sam, who won the Best Duet Award after delivering a fantastic performance together and showcasing great teamwork and talent. 🎤✨

Events like Midway Idol are a wonderful opportunity for people to express themselves, build confidence and celebrate their unique abilities in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Thank you to everyone who performed, attended and helped make the day such a success. We’re already looking forward to next year’s Midway Idol! 🎉💙

🎃🚗 Trunk or Treat is coming to Falcon! 🍬👻

Get ready for a fun-filled Halloween celebration at Falcon Pavilion on Friday 30 October 2026, from 11am to 2pm.

Decorate your car trunk, dress up in your favourite costume and join in the fun with prizes up for grabs for the best decorated trunk and best costume! 🎃🏆

Midway participants attend free, and we're also inviting members of the wider community to get involved. External participants are welcome to enter a decorated trunk for just $5 per vehicle. Simply RSVP by 20 October 2026 and submit payment to secure your spot.
