Since we are on the topic of meltdowns- they don’t stop in childhood..

When was your last meltdown? 🫣😅

There’s a reason why the tension exploded…
Do you know why?

Meltdowns are one of the most common concerns I see in kids in clinic (actually adults too! We have our own versions 😂)

Meltdowns are not behaviour driven.
They don’t happen because you’re doing anything wrong as a parent.
We just need to find what the child is struggling with and why!

This is why I love holistic therapy.. we focus on what’s happening underneath.
Once we understand, we can support the child to not feel that tension build up in the first place 🤍

Emotions can make us feel wild…
What’s my tip?

Just listen…
Stop trying to “manage” your tension, fear, sadness…
It will roll through.. I promise..

And if you need a little help.. I’m here

If you’re experiencing grief right now, please skip to picture #5 ❤️

As we hold our hearts delicately at the end of this year- let’s choose kindness..
to ourselves,
with our words (yes even towards yourself)
and how we walk through each moment

When we experience collective grief
It becomes an opportunity to open ourselves more
Step forward and hold
Rather than protect
To allow the heart to heal
And have the courage to let those barriers go ❤️

It’s these patterns of fear and behaviour
That lead to disharmony in relationships
With our partners, our kids, our families and even the world..

And we can choose
To keep these patterns of “quietening” our fear

Or
Learn to be present with your own fear
Learn how to meet anothers fear
Learn the art of co-regulation

✨
Begin with an exhale
Long and slow
Drop your shoulders
Place your hand where the fear is
And meet it with kindness and connection

✨✨

Interwoven within the Nervous System Workshops in Mona Vale and Forster
will be learning how to hold your own fear deeply
How to know when fear is masked as something else
And how to create more harmony in all your interactions- with the world, your partner, your kids…
And how to help them as well

This isn’t just a “nice” afternoon/evening
(Although it will be!)
It’s changing patterns
Passed down from generations
Ones we know it’s time to change
❤️
