Want to get the most out of agency nursing?
Here’s one of our top tips!

‼️ Keep your availability updated at least two weeks in advance.

While we often have last-minute shifts available, plenty of opportunities come through weeks ahead of time too.

The more notice you give our Booking Consultants, the better we can help you find shifts that suit your schedule and preferences. Because agency nursing is all about finding flexibility that fits your life.

Who knew saying yes to a nursing contract could come with two new best friends?

When our Recruitment Partner Emily placed three nurses on a contract in Hunter New England, NSW, none of them knew each other. Fast forward a few weeks and they're exploring the coast, spending their days off together and even already rocking matching scrubs!

It's one of the things we love most about nursing contracts across Australia. The chance to discover somewhere new, meet people you might never have crossed paths with and say yes to experiences you never expected.

Have you made a lifelong friend while working on contract? We'd love to hear your story in the comments! ⬇️

We're kicking off three days at the RMA Conference in Adelaide!

Members of our Doctors team, Tanja, Sally-Anne and Barrie, are all set up and ready for a great few days of connecting with rural and remote Doctors across Australia.

After a fantastic welcome reception last night, we've already had the pleasure of catching up with cmr locums Dr Tim and Dr Jo, who is presenting her poster at the conference.

If you're down in Adelaide at the conference, swing past booth 84 to say hello to the team.👋

A little coffee and a big thank you! ☕💙

Last week, we visited Queensland Children's Hospital alongside our charity partner, the Children's Hospital Foundation, to spread a little happiness for Allied Health Day!

We loved meeting some of the amazing allied health staff, hearing about the incredible work they do and treating them to a well-deserved coffee on us!

It's a small way we can give back to the healthcare professionals who spend their days looking after everyone else.

A big thank you to the Children's Hospital Foundation and the QCH team for having us, and to all the wonderful allied health professionals for everything you do.

Signing your contract is just the beginning of the support you’ll receive from cmr 💙

Our internal travel team helps coordinate what comes next, from flights and accommodation to the extra logistics involved in getting you to rural and remote locations.

It means you’re not left trying to piece everything together on your own. As our June 2026 Locum Survey shows, from the moment your placement is confirmed to the moment you arrive, there’s a team behind the scenes helping make the journey as smooth as possible and ensuring satisfaction!

Meet the faces behind our Allied Health team 👋

With five specialist teams across Physiotherapy, PODS, Medical Imaging, Pharmacy and Dental, we've got a pretty incredible team dedicated to connecting Allied Health professionals with opportunities across Australia.

And while we're taking the chance to introduce our team, the real stars of Allied Health Professionals Day are the healthcare professionals we get to work with every day!

From helping people move and communicate to supporting healthier, happier lives, the work you do makes a real difference in communities across Australia.

Happy Allied Health Professionals Day to our wonderful Allied Health community!

Thinking about nursing in Australia? 🇳🇿🇦🇺

Kiwi nurse Charlotte recently made the move from NZ to work as a nurse in Australia and there were a few things she definitely didn’t expect along the way.

From nursing ratios and different medication names to the weather, and settling into life here, she’s sharing a few of the things she wishes she knew before making the move.

Thinking about doing the same? Send us a message or download our free guide in our bio.

What do newborn cuddles, African food and Mount Gambier have in common?

They're just a few of the things our PODS team can't stop talking about!

Meet Ashley, Alex and Munashe, the faces behind our PODS (Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics & Speech Pathology) recruitment team.

🔹Ashley loves a Sunday coffee and walk, Mexican food, and placing healthcare workers in Mount Gambier. With plenty of sightseeing opportunities and a lovely team to work with, it's easy to see why it's her favourite.

🔹Alex is currently obsessed with his newborn daughter (and fair enough! 🥹). He's also a big fan of Turkish food, a good challenge and sending allied health professionals on adventures across Victoria.

🔹Munashe believes African food is good for the soul! When he's not discovering new places or dreaming of the Maldives, he's helping locum OTs explore opportunities across Australia.

Different personalities, different food favourites, but one thing they all have in common? A passion for connecting allied health professionals with exciting opportunities and communities across Australia.

Now it's your turn! What's your dream location for an allied health locum adventure? 👇
