MATES - Making A Difference

Every year we remember Morgan
MATES - Making A Difference
His quirky personality his persistence and his friendships that made a difference in lives of those who him.

I was blessed to have know him since he was a young cheeky kid, who just wanted to walk on stilts.
Over the years the personality grew and with constant practice, patience and persistence so did his Stiltwalking skills.
He loved to dress up, wear his angel wings and share hugs and wise words.
I was on my way to Lunar Circus - the home of Karnidale when I heard of the tragic accident that embraced you in those wings forever.
Now each year we gather in your grandmothers garden to remember the Madness & Mates do make a difference in our lives, that circus and clowning brings joy and happiness into the lives.
It’s an honour to continue the legacy and keep being a MAD Mate 🎪🤡❤️🍒

Join WA's Solidarity with Arrernte Custodians and local residents of Mparntwe/Alice Springs: Tune in this weekend to Vimeo to be part of the Close Pine Gap Sacred Land Back Convergence workshops, discussion, connecting and peaceful protest from July 18-20, 2026.

This year is the 60th anniversary of the signing of the agreement between the US and Australian governments that led to the construction of the so-called Pine Gap joint defence facility on Arrernte Country
The convergence on the Pine Gap intelligence facility will take place on the 18-20 July to call for the end of the US alliance, the return of the land the facility has occupied for 60 years, and to talk about ongoing struggles for justice and decolonisation in this place.
