More detail:
The reset itself cannot be reviewed, but decisions under the eligible high support needs variation pathway can be reviewed.
Different eligibility transition arrangements apply to children aged 8 and under already in the NDIS before 1 January 2028.
Exempt groups within the affected categories include employment supports, disability-related health supports, high intensity supports, intensive and complex behaviour supports, customised and wearable technology, and hearing services.
Essential help at home, home and vehicle modifications, mobility equipment and SDA are examples of other supports unaffected by this reset.
