Some of the most beautiful relationships at Intuition are the ones that grow alongside your family. 🩵

For mum Elizabeth, that meant having the wonderful Dr Kelly Hankins and midwife Noni by her side throughout not one, but two pregnancies!

And judging by this gorgeous photo with little Sawyer, we think it’s safe to say they’ve become pretty special people to this family. 🥹

Elizabeth recently sent us this beautiful message:

“Nothing was ever too much trouble, and you always made me feel so reassured, supported and well looked after. I can’t thank you enough for everything!”

It’s messages like these that remind us why continuity of care matters so much.

Having familiar faces, trusted relationships and a team who genuinely care can make such a difference throughout pregnancy, birth and beyond.

Thank you, Elizabeth, for trusting Intuition with both of your pregnancies and for allowing us to share this special moment.

And welcome to the world, beautiful Sawyer! 🩵

For decades, endometriosis has largely been treated as a gynaecological condition.

But growing research suggests it is far more complex: a whole-body inflammatory disease involving the immune system, with effects that can extend well beyond the reproductive system.

And that distinction matters.

Because if we continue to look for answers only within the reproductive system, we may be selling women short.

Reframing endometriosis as a systemic condition opens the door to broader research, multidisciplinary care and, potentially, entirely new approaches to treatment.

The more we understand the whole disease, the closer we get to better answers for the women living with it. 🤍

Your doctor. Your birth. Your choice. 🤍 For Intuition patient Kate Jones, that meant getting the birth she'd always dreamed of... A beautiful waterbirth, with her favourite obstetrician by her side. 🥹♥️

Kate Jones recently shared her birth story on the Australian Birth Stories podcast, and it's a wonderful listen for anyone considering private obstetric care on the Central Coast.

Her experience is a beautiful example of what personalised maternity care can look like when women feel supported, informed and empowered to make choices about their birth.

Your Doctor. Your Birth. Your Choice. 🤍

Choosing private obstetric care isn’t about the building where you give birth. It’s about who is standing beside you.

At Intuition, you choose your obstetrician. The doctor who gets to know you throughout your pregnancy, understands your medical history, your concerns and your wishes is the doctor responsible for your care when it matters most.

Our patients give birth at Gosford Hospital as private patients, under the care of their chosen Intuition obstetrician, combining personalised continuity of care with the comprehensive facilities of the Central Coast’s major hospital.

That means access to 24/7 medical, anaesthetic and paediatric support, theatre facilities and specialised neonatal care, while maintaining the relationship you’ve built with your private obstetrician throughout your pregnancy.

Because private obstetric care has never just been about having a private room.

It’s about having your doctor, your birth and your choice.

🤍 Your Doctor. Your Birth. Your Choice.

This World Menopause Day, we’re celebrating what comes next. 🤍

For so much of a woman’s life, her body operates to a rhythm that isn’t entirely her own.
Periods. Fertility. Pregnancy. Birth. Breastfeeding. Hormonal shifts. Decades of cycles and change.
And then comes menopause.

It can be challenging. It can be messy. And for some women, the transition can have a very real impact on their physical and emotional wellbeing.

But there can also be something wonderfully liberating on the other side.

A body no longer governed by a monthly cycle. No more periods. No more contraception. No more wondering if this month might be the month. A new stage of life where your body belongs entirely to you.

From a body that has spent decades serving, to a body that gets to simply be yours.

So this World Menopause Day, Sunday 18 October, while we continue to advocate for better recognition, treatment and support for women experiencing menopause, we also want to celebrate the women emerging on the other side.

Older. Wiser. Freer.

And perhaps just getting started…again. 🤍

Let’s talk menopause! 🤍

We’re delighted to share that Intuition’s very own Dr Helen Manning will be a guest speaker at the World Menopause Day Lunch, hosted by You By Shauna Watts | Menopause Doctor on Sunday 25 October 2026.

With more than 20 years of international experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr Manning brings a wealth of knowledge to the conversation around women’s health.

She’ll be discussing important topics including postmenopausal bleeding, pelvic organ prolapse and other health concerns women may experience during and beyond menopause.

It’s an opportunity to learn, ask questions and have open, informed conversations about a stage of life that deserves far more attention.

📅 Sunday 25 October 2026
📍 The Olive Grove, Forresters Beach

We’d love to see you there!

🎟️ Head over to for more information and to secure your tickets.

Because menopause isn’t the end of the conversation. It’s time we started having more of them! ♥️

Booking a Behavioural Paediatric Assessment for your child? Here’s what we need first. 🧠🤍

Before our Patient Support Team can book your child’s behavioural appointment, we need a few important documents to help give their paediatrician a more complete picture of their development, behaviour and individual needs.

Please have the following ready:

• A current GP referral
• Two completed SNAP IV forms, one from your child’s primary caregiver and one from their school or daycare teacher
• A completed New Patient Form
• Your child’s recent school reports
• Any relevant reports from speech pathologists, psychologists or other allied health professionals
You may also wish to include a brief summary of any family history of neurodiverse conditions that could be relevant to your child’s assessment.

Having this information available before the appointment helps your paediatrician understand your concerns and make the best possible use of your consultation time.

The good news? We’ve made it easy. All the forms, documents and instructions you need are available on the Intuition Paediatrics website: https://bit.ly/4jGzqLK

Once everything is ready, send it through to our Patient Support Team and we can help you with the next step. 🤍

Infant Loss Awareness Month – October 2026

I never held you in my arms,
or counted tiny fingers.
I never saw your eyes look back at mine,
or heard the sound of your cry.

But I knew you.

I knew you in the dreams I made,
in the future I quietly imagined.
I knew you in every hope,
every plan,
every little thought of who you might become.

There are no photographs of us together,
no firsts to remember,
no stories of the things you said or did.

But there is love.

A love that began before we ever met,
and did not disappear
when goodbye came too soon.

The world may never have known you, but I did.

You were here.
You mattered.
You were loved.

And though I never got to meet you,
I will carry the memory of you
for all the days
you never got to have. 🤍
