💚💊 EXCITING THINGS ARE HAPPENING IN PHARMACY! 💊💚

We’re incredibly excited to share that our very own pharmacists, Sean and Angela, are nearing completion of their Pharmacist Prescribing Course! 🎓👏

With NSW expanding the role of community pharmacists, this additional training is helping pharmacists build on their clinical knowledge and skills to provide more healthcare services closer to home.

Once qualified and appropriately authorised, pharmacists like Sean and Angela will be able to assist eligible patients with an expanded range of everyday health conditions, including areas such as:
🌼 Hay fever and allergic rhinitis
🤢 Nausea and vomiting
💊 Reflux
💪 Mild muscle and joint pain
🧴 Acne and other eligible conditions

This is an exciting step forward for accessible healthcare in our community, and we're so proud of Sean and Angela for investing their time and dedication into further developing their skills.

More knowledge. More services. More ways to care for our community. 💚

Hay fever getting you down? Here are 5 simple tips to help you get through pollen season:

1. Start early
Don’t wait until symptoms are in full swing. Speak to your pharmacist about the right option for you.

2. Find what works for you
If your usual antihistamine isn’t doing the trick, your pharmacist can help you explore other options.

3. Don’t forget your nose
Nasal sprays can be a game changer for hay fever symptoms, ask which type is right for you.

4. Suffering with itchy eyes?
Ask your pharmacist about suitable eye drops to help soothe those irritating symptoms.

5. Make a few simple changes
Shower after being outdoors, keep windows closed when pollen counts are high and try to avoid bringing pollen into your bedroom.
