🏆 2026 Gympie Women in Business Awards 🏆

I still don’t quite know how to put this into words. ❤️

I was nominated for the Generous Heart Award.

“This award goes to a woman who gives back, with time, resources or compassion, and uplifts others in the process.”

I was SO nervous, literally shaking like a leaf. 😂 This was so far outside my comfort zone, and definitely not something I would usually do 🙈

Then my name was called. ❤️

As I stood there, the judges’ feedback was read out. The short version was:

“She doesn’t just talk about inclusion, she lives it every single day.”

“She has quietly built a community that is kinder, stronger and more connected.”

“She promotes and values inclusivity and diversity in her work and in her life, and that says it all.”

Those words hit me right in the heart.

Because I always try to be kind. To make people feel welcome. To see the person, not just the circumstances around them. To leave people a little better than I met them.

I don’t always get it right, and I certainly don’t do these things for recognition. I just believe that kindness matters. That everyone deserves to feel included, valued and heard.

So to have those things recognised by the judges was incredibly emotional for me.

My WHY (I do what I do) was understood. And I am incredibly proud. ❤️

Thank you to the Gympie Women in Business Awards for this beautiful recognition.

I’ll treasure this 🫶🥰🏆
