💜 HELPING SPREAD THE MESSAGE: WALK FOR RESPECT 💜

A big thank you to Jamie from Mulleraterong for helping Rotary Hamilton spread the word about our upcoming Walk for Respect! 👏

Jamie has been out and about delivering posters to businesses around Hamilton’s C*D, helping us get the message into the community that respect matters and everyone has a part to play in preventing family violence.

It’s wonderful to see Jamie getting involved and helping raise awareness for such an important cause. Every poster displayed and every conversation started helps spread the message. 💜

📅 Friday 27 November 2026
📍 Meet at 10am at the Thompson Street gate of the Hamilton Botanic Gardens, walking to the Performing Arts Centre.

Join us for a walk, a keynote speaker and a free sausage sizzle. Wear purple or orange, or simply come as you are!

Let’s walk together for a community built on respect. 💜🧡

September was a big month for dinner outings - three venues, lots of great company and plenty of good meals! 🍽️

First up, Francis, Evan, Suzanne, Neil, Duncan and Latisha headed out with Evert, Abbie and Hannah for a great evening at The Cally Hamilton. Then Suzanne, Tom, Jarrod and Emma joined Sallie for dinner at Thai Town Hamilton. 🍜
Then to round out the month, Francis, Neil, Suzanne, Evan and Latisha were back out again with Angus, Dylan and Abbie for dinner at the Grand Central Hotel .

Three great venues, three great nights out in the community. 🧡

Thank you to all three for looking after our crew so well!

What a day out in Warrnambool, and what a result! 🐾🏆

Yesterday Jarrod, Evan, Jake and Duncan headed to the Warrnambool Greyhound Racing Club with Sallie and Hannah for the 2026 Great Chase Community Series, and came home with a story to tell!

Now in its 23rd year, the Great Chase brings community groups together for a night of fun, food and the excitement of following your very own allocated greyhound throughout the races.

And luck was very much on our side. Our dogs ran brilliantly all night, and by the final race, the Mulleraterong table finished 3rd and took home $600!

After five years of attending, we finally won something! 🎉

A huge thank you to Greyhound Racing Victoria and the Warrnambool Greyhound Racing Club for the invitation and for putting on such a wonderful, inclusive event. Over $800,000 has been donated to Victorian community organisations through the Great Chase since 2003, an incredible legacy. 🙌

Happy Homemade Cookie Day! 🍪

There is something about the smell of freshly baked cookies that makes everything a bit better! Our cooking groups have been busy this week baking beautiful batches of homemade cookies, and come afternoon tea time, there was not a single complaint to be heard.

From scratch, with love ... the best kind. 🧡
