It’s been a great day out and about in the sunshine today!

This morning we went for a walk then Nicole went for a farm tour in the buggy which she said she really enjoyed!

We went and checked out a community kite flying event, it was lots of fun even though our kite flying needs some practice!!!

Nicole has had a busy day today.

This morning we went and practiced some bowling before heading up to the silverdome for their open day, we enjoyed a bbq lunch while we were there.

After lunch we headed to puzzle and chill where we hung out with other puzzle lovers while we all chatted and worked on puzzles.

This evening we fed the cows and then made chicken parmies and salad for dinner:)

This morning was a great morning for the women’s 5k in Launceston. We got dressed up
In the shirts Jayarna and made in the lead up
To the event.

Jayarna did a great job today. The official times are not in yet but Jayarna had an approx 5min improvement on last year.

It was a lovely morning to get dressed up for such a great cause. We were joined by my mum Karen Jones and my niece Ruby. It was our third year of doing it all together. 😀

I’m so incredibly proud of this young lady!!

Watching Jayarna grow over the past five years has been such a privilege. From the very beginning, we've worked together on building confidence, developing everyday life skills, and strengthening the work skills that would one day help her achieve her goals.

Today, seeing her dressed in her work uniform and dropping her off to work fills me with so much pride. It hasn't always been easy, but she has shown incredible determination, resilience, and courage every step of the way. Every challenge she faced, she met with persistence, and every small achievement helped build the foundation for this moment.

This job is so much more than just a first job—it's the result of years of hard work, growth, and believing in herself. Seeing her walk into this new chapter reminds me why I love what I do.

Jayarna, I couldn't be prouder of you. Thank you for letting me be part of your journey. This is only the beginning, and I know you have so many wonderful things ahead of you. Keep setting goals and keep reaching for the stars!

Bria and I finished off our weekend together on the treetops ropes course out at Holybank.

This took a lot of balance, coordination and problem solving to be able to get across each obstacle!

Bria has had a great day.

We started the day off with a sneaky early morning Icecream from swirlicious who were at Beaconsfield market.

We then went for a couple of games of bowling before going to watch some of Bria’s friends in a show, the show was great and all the kids did a wonderful job.

This afternoon we checked into our accomodation and did some shopping. Spent some time cooking then ended our day with a swim and spa!

Nicole has had a great weekend. We spent Friday night and Saturday morning doing some cooking.

This morning we did a scavenger hunt around Launceston before going to do the boags brewery tour. We learnt a lot but opted for soft drink at the end :)

Jayarna and I had a lovely afternoon at a hat burning workshop this afternoon.

It was lots of fun :)

Jayarna has had a very busy day!

Lots of time with the animals. We also went dog walking and cashed in some cans.

We then spent more time with animals this afternoon before heading in to do an escape room together :)
