We absolutely love seeing our participants enjoying their passions, getting out in the community, connecting with nature and making memories along the way. 🌊☀️

To be recognised on a national stage alongside outstanding providers and professionals from across Australia is an incredible achievement for our small Northern Rivers team.

In just over two years, we’ve grown from supporting 2 participants to 76, and every step of that journey has been driven by our amazing team, participants, families, and community. Every shift, every challenge overcome, every goal achieved, and every act of kindness has helped shape who we are today.

We’re especially proud to see Emma recognised for the exceptional care, dedication, and impact she has as a Support Worker. 🌟

📍 Location: Lismore, New South Wales, Australia
Competition Details:
★Divisions: Men's and Women's competitions
★Prize Pool: $10,000 across divisions
★Teams: Around 20 teams featuring top Indigenous talent, including regular participants from Cabbage Tree Island, Cubawee, Muli Muli, Tabulam, and Tweed
Cultural Focus: As organizer Chris Binge highlighted, the event serves primarily as a cultural hub for regional families to connect, hold smoking ceremonies, and celebrate heritage alongside the sport.
