I’ve always said the people I support are my people. 💜

Throughout my career, I’ve met some of the most beautiful souls, and they’ve taught me that the simple things in life really do matter.

They know who they are, what they want and what they don’t. They’re kind, accepting and non-judgemental. Sometimes, I think they’ve got life more figured out than the rest of us.

In a world of responsibility, hustle and constant busyness, I’m grateful for the people who remind me to slow down, be present and appreciate what really matters.

Sometimes we think we’re there to support others, when really, they’re teaching us too.

Pretty disappointed in the NDIS.

In my role my goal is to not only support the person I support but also their families. Sometimes this can be just listening, sharing experiences or guiding them to where to find the answers to their questions about the NDIS.

I have been thinking about creating some easy read versions of processes to help families navigate the NDIS.

But in true ‘Manager hat’ fashion I didn’t want to reinvent the wheel if something was already available.

I went to the NDIS website and was shocked to find that the core information families and the people I support need, didn’t have easy read versions.

I am a believer in working together to better the lives of the people I support and the disability community.
NDIS we need to do better.
NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme can we collaborate? - I’d love to ensure everyone can understand the NDIS, their plan and how to find a provider that is right for them.

Such a wonderful night getting to know other women small business owners at the Australian Small Business Champion Awards.

It was truly inspiring to hear the determination, purpose and passion behind why so many women do what they do.

I didn’t take home the award in my category, and that’s okay. I got a beautiful night away with my husband, the chance to dress up (💜) and I met some incredible women doing incredible things.

Congratulations to all of the finalists and winners—it was an honour to be among you!

I’m so excited to share that I’m now a Business Coach with Global Sisters 💜

Global Sisters is an incredible Australian not-for-profit organisation that empowers women to become financially independent by starting, growing and sustaining their own businesses. They provide mentoring, coaching, education, business resources and a supportive community for women at every stage of their business journey.

Supporting women has always been at the heart of what I do, so it’s a privilege to now help other female entrepreneurs build confidence, overcome barriers and achieve their business goals.
