We’re so excited about this local drop... Freshwater Farm just landed in store! Natural Hair & Body Products

This is a family run farm on the NSW Mid-North Coast growing 60 acres of tea tree, 30 acres of lemon scented tea tree, plus lemon myrtle, saltbush, lavender tea tree, and they even keep bees making their own Manuka honey.

They do everything themselves.. Grow, harvest, distill the oils and make the product. From soil to bottle, all on Worimi Country.

We’ve got their Castile soap range; shower and hand soaps.

100% Australian made, cruelty-free and ethically produced.

New to Beaches ~ Electra Somos ELECTRA SOMOS

This is a brand born from lived experience. As a child, Yasmin spent 12 years in and out of hospitals, put on endless antibiotics but nothing worked. Until her mother turned to homeopathy and everything shifted.

That moment changed the course of both their lives. Her mother became a holistic practitioner and Yasmin followed, training in homeopathy, kinesiology, yoga and energetics over the past 20 years.

Now, through Electra Somos, she’s bringing homeopathic remedies into homes, rooted in generational knowledge and a deep belief in the body’s ability to heal.

The name came to her in a dream. Electra - Greek for “shining.” Somos - Spanish for “we are.” We are sparks of the divine.

☀️ 1 in 3 Australians are vitamin D deficient by the end of winter.

As the days shorten and the sun sits lower, our bodies simply can’t make the vitamin D they do in summer. Deficiency jumps from around 14% at the end of summer to 36% by the end of winter, and in the south-eastern states it climbs to nearly 1 in 2. 🌥️

And you can’t eat your way out of it. Only about 5–10% of your vitamin D comes from food, and standard multivitamins (32–200 IU) just don’t cut it.

Vitamin D matters for strong bones and muscles, a resilient immune system, steady energy, and mood through the darker months yet you often can’t feel it dropping until levels are low. That’s why winter is the time to be proactive. 💛

A general guide to supplementing (always look for D3):
🔸 Everyday maintenance: 1,000–2,000 IU daily
🔸 Mild deficiency (30–49 nmol/L): 1,000–2,000 IU daily
🔸 Moderate–severe (below 30 nmol/L): 3,000–5,000 IU daily for 6–12 weeks, then back to a maintenance dose

A quick tip: more isn’t better. Above 5,000 IU/day should be under medical supervision, and the end of winter is the perfect time for a simple GP blood test, your level sets your dose. 🩸
