All of us at Central General Practice are deeply saddened by the horrific attack on Helen Haines this week.

Our thoughts are with Helen, her family, friends and her team. As a nurse, midwife and local MP, Helen has dedicated so much of her life to caring for others and serving our community.

We send our heartfelt wishes for her recovery, and our gratitude to the bystanders, emergency responders and healthcare teams caring for her.

Violence has no place in our community. Kindness, compassion and looking after one another do.

Snake 🐍 Eeeeek!

A snake was sighted on the footpath near the clinic yesterday.

He slithered away and we notified a snake catcher to try and find and re-home.

We also let the kinder know to ensure families keep an eye out.

Fantastic morning at the Fat Farmers Run for Resilience last weekend!

CGP was proud to run the first aid stand, with several of our team also lacing up and completing the run.

Such a great community event bringing people together for an important cause. A huge well done to LouFit Personal Training for organising such a fantastic morning.
