WE’RE HIRING JUNIOR CAVE DIVER

Finished school early?
Available during the day and ready to start earning?
We’re looking for a Junior Cave Diver to join our Redcliffe team — and this could be a great first step into the workforce for the right person.
First things first: this is predominantly a cleaning role.
Our guests come to City Cave to relax. Behind the scenes, however, we’re moving pretty quickly to make that happen.
Float rooms need turning around, saunas need resetting, towels need folding, floors need mopping and showers, toilets and drains all need cleaning — properly.
SO… ARE YOU SOMEONE WHO GETS STUCK IN?
You’ll probably be great at this role if you:
Work quickly and don’t need to be constantly reminded what to do
Notice the little things other people miss
Take pride in doing a job properly
Can follow a process without skipping steps
Are happy working independently
Are also great as part of a team
Are reliable and understand that a rostered shift is a commitment
Have finished school and are regularly available during weekdays
Can also work some evenings and weekends
Aren’t remotely bothered by cleaning toilets, showers or drains!
THE REALITY CHECK
If you’re looking for a job where you can stand around waiting for someone to give you something to do, this probably isn’t it.
We’re looking for someone who can look around, see what needs doing and get on with it.
You don’t need loads of experience. Attitude, reliability, pace and initiative matter much more to us.
And yes — there is a lot of cleaning.
But you’ll be doing it in a beautiful wellness centre, with a great team around you and the opportunity to learn how a busy business actually operates.
AND THERE’S ROOM TO GROW
Some of our best Cave Divers have gone on to become Float Attendants, taking on more responsibility across guest service, sales and centre operations.
