We thought we couldn't be any more blown away by Morocco, but this incredible country always manages to surprise us

Every moment from our trip last month showed us nature, music, delicious food (so much food), culture, welcoming people and experiences that some people in our group never thought they'd have

As Margaret told me after the trip, "I have 5 new friends who have supported and encouraged the slowest hiker in every way possible." So don't think you can't do it, because you can

Morocco is back on the calendar for 2027 so if you've been spying on it for a few years now, make this year the one!

It’s easy for women to hold themselves back from solo hiking, camping and adventure because they feel unsafe, and who can blame us?

But have a listen to Tracey and question whether those solo experiences are what is best for us anyway… you can find more than just safety in numbers!

What do you think?

"I wouldn't change a thing about our beautiful getaway, meeting such lovely people, seeing such beautiful places, watching nature at its best. Life is busy but it's so important to make time to feel alive everyday."

That's what Lyndal had to say about our Bay of Fires Walking Escape, which has been a fan favourite for many years now

It's easy to put adventure on the backburner but this is your chance to be like Lyndal and make that time for yourself

Come join Adrian in this beautiful Tassie spot in December and give yourself the time to unwind that you deserve

What small adventure are you putting in the diary this week?

I know there are lots of life things always needing to happen, which can limit our ability to go off on massive adventures, but that shouldn't hold us back from having those little moments that remind us there's more to life than work and errands

I often head to a local trail for a walk or a cycle after work - what do you like to do?

Four days of walking, waterfalls and wonderful company in the Blue Mountains.

Our group took on the Three Sisters and the Giant Stairway, then explored the Grand Canyon: a stunning gorge walk through ferns, moss and waterfalls. At around six kilometres, it sounds short, but the stairs and climbs make it a real challenge, especially with tired legs on day two.

That’s where the group spirit really showed. People encouraged each other up the hills, carried bags and kept moving together. After the big days, we shared cards, w**e and home-cooked dinners, with time to enjoy Scenic World and browse Leura too. We finished with Wentworth Falls, the Undercliff Track and one last walk together.

Our walkers came with different levels of experience and fitness, including people nearing 80 and people who had never done so many stairs. They didn’t need to feel perfectly ready. They needed to give it a go, take it one step at a time and let the group support them.

That’s what our Walking Escapes are about: challenging yourself, discovering what you can do, and sharing the experience with a welcoming group.

We’ll be back in the Blue Mountains next April. If you’re ready to say yes, get in touch and we’ll help you find the right adventure. And if April feels a long way off, take a look at our other upcoming trips.
