It has been such an honour to welcome Renee into the beautiful practice of Reiki and to witness another chapter of her healing journey unfold.

Renee already holds space for others through her work with breathwork, supporting people to reconnect with themselves, find presence, and explore healing from within.

Today I turn 50.

Half a century of living, loving, learning, and occasionally wondering why I walked into a room!

Life hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge has shaped the person I am today.

At 50, I have less fear, more gratitude, and a deeper appreciation for the simple things—family, friendships, health, and meaningful moments.

Here’s to embracing this new chapter with an open heart, a grateful soul, and maybe a pair of reading glasses 👓nearby.

We often believe we are suffering because of what happened, or because of what might happen.

But most of the time, the pain is not in the past or the future itself — it is in the mind returning to what has already gone, or reaching toward what has not yet arrived.

The present moment is where we can breathe again.
It is where we can soften.
It is where we can reconnect with ourselves.

This is why returning to the present is such a powerful practice. Not because life becomes perfect, but because we stop abandoning ourselves inside our thoughts.

Come back to your breath.
Come back to your body.
Come back to now.

This moment is where peace begins. 🤍

Today, my little girl took one more step into the world — brave, independent, and fearless. ✨

Watching my 10-year-old leave home for the first time, so confident and certain within herself, made me pause deeply as a mother. In that moment, I realised she is no longer the tiny little soul I once carried in my arms… she is growing into a courageous young person with her own light, strength, and spirit.

And while my heart overflowed with pride, I must confess… I had to hold back tears. Tears of love, of gratitude, and yes, a little sadness too. Because motherhood is beautifully bittersweet — we spend years teaching them to be strong enough to fly, while quietly learning how to let go little by little ourselves.

Today reminded me that our children are not ours to keep small forever. They are souls entrusted to us for a moment in time, to guide, nurture, and love as they become who they were always meant to be. 🤍

My brave girl, may life always meet your courage with kindness, and may you never forget the light you carry within you. ✨

This weekend, I had the honour of teaching Okuden Reiki — Practitioner Level — to Tasch.

Okuden means “inner teachings.” This level invites us to deepen our connection with Reiki, strengthen our intuition, and gently reconnect with the inner light we all carry within us.

Through life, worries, anger, fear, and emotional heaviness can sometimes cloud this light, making it harder to see ourselves clearly and connect with our deeper purpose.

Okuden Reiki supports us in softening those layers, returning to the heart, and remembering the brightness that has always been within.

It was a beautiful weekend of learning, practice, reflection, and heart connection.

Watching a student continue their Reiki journey is always very special, and I feel deeply grateful to hold this space.

Thank you, Tasch, for your trust, openness, and beautiful energy this weekend.

May this next chapter bring you deeper healing, confidence, and connection on your Reiki path. ✨

Today, after a busy week immersed in many things, I chose to simply be… to do nothing.

To return inward, and to do what has saved me over and over again—what I call energy ✨

To sit on the wooden floor, accompanied by the gentle rhythm of the rain, feeling its sound as a natural, soothing presence.

Breathing in the calm of the moment… and exhaling everything that no longer serves a purpose.

From the outside, it may seem quiet—like there is no noise within me. But there is… there is often so much noise.

And today, it softened. It dissolved.

Being an energy being, resonating with others, can feel overwhelming at times. There is so much to feel, so much to hold… because I truly care. And that care can become loud.

That is why I am so deeply grateful to have crossed paths with the practice of traditional Japanese Reiki. It continues to guide me, gently bringing me back to stillness whenever the outside world becomes too intense.

Today, I feel grounded.
I feel present.
I feel thankful.

Grateful for life… for what it offers, everywhere I look, and in every place I choose to be.
