This isn’t about shaming anyone for feeding kibble. It’s about asking what we’ve come to prioritise.

Convenience matters, life is busy, and every dog and household is different. But when convenience comes before health, there can be a cost down the track.

Food does more than fill the bowl. It can shape how a dog feels and functions every day. So it’s worth looking beyond the front of the bag and asking: is this food really supporting the dog in front of me?

No judgement. Just a conversation we need to keep having.

Some dogs do better with smaller, more frequent meals. Others can feel worse when portions are too small or there’s a long gap between meals.

Pay attention to your dog’s pattern: when symptoms show up, how much they’ve eaten, and how long it’s been since their last meal. If reflux keeps happening, there’s usually more to explore than just meal size.

Early animal research on red radish has found interesting changes in kidney markers and antioxidant activity.
It hasn’t been studied in dogs, but I feel it’s a worthwhile little addition to your dog’s veggie puree especially if their kidney markers have been elevated. ❤️

Use the root only; leave the leaves out.
