AccessCare is an experienced provider of home care and support services managed by Kingston City Council in Melbourne. For 30 years, we have supported older people, people with disabilities and people who are homeless. We are dedicated to empowering our clients to continue living independently in their own homes and communities. We have earned a strong reputation for supporting people, including those with complex needs. Through our connection to local council, we have developed an unparalleled amount of industry knowledge and experience, which we use to ensure our clients receive care that addresses their unique and specific needs. In this way, we support our clients to remain in their own homes, surrounded by their pets, garden and community. Join our customer engagement committee

AccessCare values feedback so we can continually improve our service, communication and ensure we are meeting your needs.

We are looking for clients to join our customer engagement committee. As a committee member, you will provide valuable feedback about our services and the materials we create to explain them.

This might include things like:
- reviewing our website
- giving feedback on new brochures and materials
- participating in focus groups, and
- providing advice on the best communication methods to reach and inform existing and potential AccessCare clients.

This is a volunteer role that would suit people who are active in the community and looking for a way to support others to receive the very best care in their own homes.

Daylight Savings Reminder!

A friendly reminder that Sunday the 4th of October is daylight savings.

A few friendly tips:
• Set your clocks forward 1 hour before going to bed on Saturday
• Most smartphones and computers will update automatically
• Check and update any standalone clocks, including ovens, microwaves, car, and wall clocks
• If you have a medical alarm or medication reminder device, it's worth double-checking that too
• It's also the perfect time to replace your smoke alarm battery — a great twice-yearly habit to keep you and your loved ones safe
