We get a lot of questions about dry needling, especially from people who haven’t tried it before.

Does it hurt? Is it safe? How long does it take? Will I be sore afterwards?

They’re all fair questions.

Dry needling can feel a little different for everyone, which is why we always assess what’s going on first and explain what we’re doing before we get started.

Did you know cupping marks became a lot more recognised after athletes started showing up with them at major sporting events like the Olympics?

Cupping can be a useful part of treatment when we’re working on tight muscles, movement and recovery. The marks might look a bit dramatic, but they’re simply a response to the suction and usually fade over time.
