⛵️ Back from the Blue Water! 🌊

Sharon and Krystal are back in the clinic after an incredible adventure racing from the Gold Coast to Mackay!

The race certainly delivered — plenty of excitement, some wild wind-against-tide conditions creating a very entertaining sea state, two 40-knot squalls, and even managing to rip the track off the mast along the way! 💨🌊⛵️

There’s nothing quite like a few days of blue-water sailing, heading up the Queensland coast and enjoying everything offshore racing throws at you.

Now refreshed, recharged and with plenty of stories to tell, Sharon and Krystal are back in the clinic and excited to get back to work! 💪

Sometimes a little salt water is the best reset. 🌊💙

A fantastic evening at the Women and Girls Sailing Forum at Mordialloc Sailing Club.

It was a pleasure to speak about hormonal health across the female lifespan with such an engaged group of sailors. We had a wonderful mix of women and girls from windsurfers and off-the-beach sailors to keelboat and tall ship crews, all sharing a passion for sailing.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make it such a successful event promoting women and girls in sailing.

Welcome Back, Krystal! ~ Concussion

The team at K2 Health is pleased to welcome Krystal Weir back to the clinic after three weeks away recovering from a concussion sustained during the Victorian Masters Hockey Trials.

Concussion is often an invisible injury, yet it can have a significant impact on a person's ability to work, exercise, think clearly, and participate in everyday life. Krystal's experience is a timely reminder of the importance of recognising concussion early and allowing adequate time for recovery.

Krystal is now back seeing physiotherapy patients and running Pilates classes.
