How it started vs how it’s going💙
Back in 2019, this was our very first stash of rescued medical supplies. It was a little chaotic, but there was plenty of passion and one single goal to keeping medical supplies out of landfill.

Fast forward to 2026, and look at where we are today.

With the support of our partners, 400+ volunteers and our amazing community, we’ve grown from a small side project into a growing network, helping divert 15,000+ tonnes of surplus medical supplies to medical, animal welfare and education partners across Australia and the Asia Pacific.

So much has changed since that first stash, but our mission remains the same.

When supplies reach the right hands, they can help provide care where it’s needed most. At Medical Pantry, we rescue surplus medical supplies and help get them to communities where they can be put to good use.

Every $1 donated can help us redistribute more than $350 worth of medical supplies. That means a little support can go a long way 🌏

A huge thank you to for this incredible donation of 13 pallets of infusion pumps, syringe pumps, and IV giving sets. 450+ pumps have already been distributed to partners across Australia, with more reaching partners in Fiji, Indonesia and Thailand through our humanitarian, education and animal welfare networks.

It takes a huge collective effort to collect, package and move this much equipment, so thank you to our amazing volunteers for their hard work that make such amazing donations possible. We’re so grateful to help give these resources a second life.

📰 Featured in the Herald Sun

When the Longwood Line Fire tore through Tarcombe Animal Shelter in January, founder Dr Robyn Coy lost her home, five animals in her care, and around $50,000 worth of veterinary equipment, including a neonatal incubator.

Dr Coy received some welcome news when Mercy Hospital for Women donated neonatal incubators, with Medical Pantry helping facilitate the donation.

As Dr Coy shared, “When the fire came through, my incubator melted into a puddle on the floor, and honestly I didn’t think I’d ever be able to replace it as they are such expensive pieces of equipment. I’m so grateful to Medical Pantry for facilitating and Mercy Hospital for Women for donating not one, but two. It’s humbling. I’m so grateful.”

Medical Pantry has reached 3,000 orders!
3,000+ orders of medical supplies that could have ended up in landfill have been placed, packed and delivered.

We couldn’t have done this without our incredible community, donors, partners and volunteers.

A Sunday well spent💙
On 9 August, our board spent the day at Huntingdale Golf Club building Medical Pantry's first strategic plan, where we're headed for the next five years, and how we get there without burning out the volunteers who make it possible.

Huntingdale generously waived the room hire so more of our funding could stay with the mission.

Thank you to Huntingdale Golf Club for the hospitality, to Harry Majewski for facilitating, and to Brendan Wong for organising the day.
