Last week, around 150 golfers took to the fairways for The House of Golf Charity Challenge, raising an estimated $70,000 for Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre’s Cutaneous Lymphoma Service.
The day was organised by Innes Ireland, a Peter Mac patient living with a rare skin lymphoma, and it's his way of saying thank you to the team who cared for him, including Assoc. Prof. Belinda Campbell and Assoc. Prof. Chris McCormack, who joined in on the day. Belinda spoke about how rare this cancer is, and why people diagnosed with it deserve better support.
Thank you to Innes, all the players and communitybankparkdale for supporting this annual event.
Inspired to make a difference in your own way? Whether it's golf day, a bake sale or a backyard BBQ, community fundraisers help give Peter Mac researchers and clinicians the tools they need. Find out how to get started: https://fundraise.petermac.org.au.
