Meet the range we love having on our shelves: Eco by Sonya. 🤍

It started on a Gold Coast kitchen bench, when Sonya, an Aussie mum who taught herself the chemistry, set out to make products built around natural and organic ingredients. Years later it’s sold around the world, and I love that it’s still an Aussie-founded brand with a real story behind it.

We stock it in-store and online, from tan to skincare, including favourites like Glory Cream and Glory Veil SPF 50. I only put products on our shelves that I’m happy to recommend, and this is one I’m proud to.

The details.

This is a close-up look at what a Mesoskinline treatment actually involves: the Power Pen, the infusion, and the needling itself.

The pen creates fine micro-channels in the skin, and the infusion is applied so those active ingredients can reach deeper than a topical product alone. Which infusion we use, and how we use it, depends on what your skin needs and what you're hoping to support.

Results build gradually over a course of treatments and vary from person to person, so we'll always be upfront about what to expect before we start.

Healthy hair starts at the scalp.

We spend so much time on the hair itself and not nearly enough on the skin it grows from. That's where Mesoskinline comes in. The aim is to support the environment your follicles sit in, and results build gradually over a course of treatments.

It's for men and women, and I'll always be upfront about this: it isn't the answer for every type of thinning. Genetic or hormonal hair changes differ, and results vary from person to person. That's exactly why we start with a proper consultation, so we can look at what's really going on for you before suggesting anything.

A facelift without surgery? The answer.

HIFU uses focused ultrasound energy to support your skin's own collagen, gradually, over time. There are no needles and no surgery, and downtime is minimal.

Where it tends to suit people: early skin laxity through the face, neck and brows, softer definition along the jawline, and anyone who wants to look fresher rather than different.

Where it doesn't: very advanced laxity, where HIFU alone isn't the answer.

And if you're in your 20s with firm skin, you don't need it yet. Results build gradually over a couple of months, so if you've got an event next weekend, this isn't the one.

If you're wondering whether you'd actually be a good candidate, that's a conversation first, not a jump to commitment.

From our retail shelf to your in-salon treatment plan. Let's talk about bakuchiol, because it keeps coming up in conversation lately.

It's a plant-derived active, often described as a gentler alternative to retinol, and it's genuinely well-tolerated by most sensitive skin. It's known for helping support firmness and elasticity, and for helping even out the appearance of tone and texture without the irritation retinol can bring for some people.

Here's why I like pairing it with nano-needling and Mesoskinline specifically: in-salon, we're working on supporting your skin's texture and renewal directly. A bakuchiol-based routine at home supports that same goal in between sessions, rather than working against it. Treatments do a lot of the heavy lifting, but what you do at home genuinely matters too.

If you're not sure how to build a routine that actually complements your treatment plan, that's exactly the kind of thing we help with.

This is me and Hannah. 🤍

I took Hannah on at 15 as a student. A very, very shy, quiet girl who couldn’t even say hi to clients. I’ve watched her grow into a woman and an amazing beauty therapist, and now, nine years later, she’s moving on to her next chapter.

I’m so proud to say Hannah is one of my biggest achievements, and the proudest part of my career as a salon owner and boss. She took over the majority of my clients, and so many of you have been looked after by her for years, so I know this is big news for Emerald. She is so loved here.

Hannah, thank you for being such a loyal, reliable part of this team, and for helping me through some rough times. I’m going to miss you more than I can say. Whatever comes next, you’ve earned every bit of it. 💜

Can we talk about the lip area for a second? Is there something that isn't filler?

Mesoskinline is one option we talk through here at Hush. It's not about injecting volume. It's about supporting hydration and skin quality in that specific area, which for a lot of people genuinely delivers what they're actually after: lips that look healthier, plumper, and more hydrated, without a needle anywhere near your lips in the way filler requires.

Brows and lashes don't get talked about as much as our advanced treatments, but honestly, they're some of the most requested services we do, and for good reason. A well-shaped brow or a properly done lash lift can genuinely change how your whole face reads, without touching a single wrinkle.

Whether it's a tint, a shape, a lash lift, or all three, it's one of those appointments that feels small on the calendar but makes a noticeable difference every time you look in the mirror, and with event season coming up, it's an easy one to get sorted early.
