READY TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP IN YOUR CAREER? 🚀
At Sunrise2Sunrise, we believe some of our best future leaders are already part of our team.
We see Life Changers every day who demonstrate initiative, accountability, compassion and natural leadership. We want to recognise that potential and provide genuine opportunities for our people to grow.
We are excited to invite Expressions of Interest (EOI) for House Manager opportunities across Melbourne’s South Eastern and Northern Suburbs at the following locations:
📍 Donnybrook
📍 Officer
📍 Clyde
📍 Cranbourne
WHY STEP UP TO HOUSE MANAGER?
Becoming a House Manager is an opportunity to build your career while making an even greater impact on the lives of our participants.
As a House Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
🚀 Progress your career and build a pathway towards Area Management and broader operational leadership.
🎓 Develop your leadership skills through practical management experience, coaching and support.
🤝 Work closely with Area Managers and our leadership team while developing your operational knowledge.
🌟 Be recognised for your potential – we want to develop and promote talented people from within Sunrise2Sunrise.
🧠 Build valuable management skills across team leadership, communication, rostering, quality, safeguarding, incident management and stakeholder engagement.
❤️ Make a bigger impact by helping create a safe, positive and high-performing home for both participants and staff.
📈 Take greater ownership and responsibility and demonstrate your capability as a future Sunrise2Sunrise leader.
Your career pathway could look like:
Life Changer / Support Worker → House Manager → Area Manager → Senior Operational Leadership
NEVER BEEN A HOUSE MANAGER BEFORE? THAT’S OKAY.
You do not need to have previously held a House Manager title to express your interest.
We are interested in potential, attitude and demonstrated leadership – not just job titles.
If you have strong SIL experience and you're someone who naturally takes initiative, supports your colleagues, solves problems, communicates well and leads by example, we want to hear from you.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our House Managers play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our SIL and respite homes.
You will help guide and support your team while ensuring participants receive safe, consistent, person-centred and high-quality supports.
Some opportunities involve supporting participants with complex disabilities, psychosocial needs and behaviours of concern, so strong SIL experience and an understanding of Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-informed practice and safeguarding are important.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for people who demonstrate:
Commitment to participant rights, dignity, choice, control and independence
Strong SIL and disability support experience
Initiative, reliability and accountability
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Confidence to guide, mentor and support colleagues
Good judgement and problem-solving skills
A proactive approach to quality, safeguarding and compliance
Ability to work collaboratively with families, Area Managers, allied health professionals and other stakeholders
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
A genuine desire to build a career with Sunrise2Sunrise
Most importantly, we are looking for people who demonstrate our Sunrise2Sunrise values of Ethics & Integrity, Customer Service, Accountability, Respect and Connection.
INTERESTED? TAKE THE FIRST STEP.
