Breast Cancer Network Australia A future with no life limited by breast cancer.

Everyone deserves clear, evidence-based information about their breast reconstruction options. 🩷

Breast reconstruction is a personal decision. For some people, it's the right choice. For others, it isn't.

Speaking at AIBC, our Director of Policy, Advocacy & Support Services Vicki Durston spoke to the importance of informed conversations about all available options, including the benefits, risks, recovery, and potential long-term impacts.

This Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day, we’re recognising the importance of informed decision-making and ensuring everyone diagnosed with breast cancer has access to the information and support they need to make the choice that feels right for them.

No life limited by breast cancer.🩷

As our CEO Kirsten Pilatti explains, these six words are more than just a tagline.

They’re a commitment.

For the past 27 years, Bakers Delight has stood with Breast Cancer Network Australia in making that commitment.

Together, we've made so much progress. But there is still so much more to do.

Everyone affected by breast cancer deserves access to the treatment, care, and solid support they need to live well.

Because survival is only part of the story, not the whole story.

Let’s keep sharing our stories. Let’s keep advocating for each other.

Let’s keep working towards a future with no life limited by breast cancer.

For Katie, menopause brought challenges that affected far more than just her physical health. It's a reality many people impacted by breast cancer understand all too well.

Treatment can induce menopause early, bringing side effects that affect work, relationships, sleep, confidence and everyday life.

This Menopause Awareness Day, we're acknowledging the experiences of people like Katie and everyone navigating the lasting impact of treatment.

Today is Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Awareness Day.

Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is the second most common type of invasive breast cancer, but it can be more difficult to detect on routine imaging and often presents differently to other breast cancers.

Awareness matters. Earlier detection, informed conversations, and continued research can help improve outcomes for people affected by ILC.

Today, we're shining a light on invasive lobular carcinoma and sharing information to help more people understand this often-overlooked diagnosis.
