📍 Location: Melton South, VIC
📅 Days: Monday to Friday
⏰ Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (10 hours/week)

✅ Must be confident in cooking home-style Indian meals
✅ Reliable, punctual and caring
✅ Disability support experience preferred

We had a wonderful time at the CARE Melton Expo last week! It was so lovely to meet new faces, connect with other local services, share what we do at Care Origin, and chat with members of our amazing community.

It was also a pleasure to meet Cr Lara Carli and have a quick photo together! 📸

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, had a chat and showed their support. We loved being part of such a great day celebrating the services and people that make our community so special. 💙

Whether you're an older person, a carer, living with disability, supporting a family member, or simply want to learn more about local services, this free event is for you.

Meet more than 40 local organisations and discover the support, services and resources available in our community.

📅 When: 10am to 2pm on Thursday 15 October 2026
📍 Where: Cobblebank Stadium, Corner of Bridge Road and Ferris Road, Cobblebank

💚 Wear Green for World Mental Health Day 💚

Tomorrow, Friday, 9 October, the Care Origin team will be wearing green in the office in recognition of World Mental Health Day, which falls on Saturday, 10 October. 🌿

And we’ll be keeping the green going on Saturday when we head to the Be Understood Expo at Melton Specialist School! 💚

Mental health matters, and sometimes even the smallest actions — checking in, having a conversation, listening or simply letting someone know you’re there — can make a meaningful difference.

We’re proud to help raise awareness and encourage conversations around mental health, wellbeing and support within our community.

💚 Wear green with us!

🎶 “We don’t even have to try, it’s always a good time!” 🎶

That pretty much sums up our Care Origin School Holiday Program! 💙🧡

Our latest adventure took us to an animal farm 🐐🐑🐓 for a day of exploring, laughter, new experiences and plenty of fun with friends.

Behind all the excitement, we’re also building confidence, independence, social skills and friendships — while making some pretty special memories along the way.

Sliding into the FINAL week of the school holidays 🛝😄

There’s never a dull moment at the Care Origin School Holiday Program! 🧡💙

Our days are designed to be loads of fun while also giving participants opportunities to build confidence, practise social skills, make friendships, try new things and grow their independence — all in a supportive environment. 🌟

And we’re not finished yet! Coming up this week we have 🐑 farm animal fun, 🌿 outdoor adventures, before finishing the holidays with a BANG at our 🎪 Care Origin Carnival!
