🌻 Invisible Disabilities Week 🌻
Did you know that around 80-85% of people with a disability have one that isn't immediately visible?

Not all disabilities can be seen - but a little kindness, understanding, and patience can make a big difference in helping everyone feel supported and included.

The Sunflower Network helps raise awareness by offering discreet products such as lanyards, badges, and wristbands. These items let others know that someone has a non-visible disability and may need extra time, understanding, or support - for example, when accessing assistance or priority toilets while out and about.

🎃👻 Let’s make Halloween spooky AND inclusive! 💗

A few small changes can make a big difference in helping everyone enjoy the Halloween fun! 🕸️✨

🏡 Create an accessible way for everyone to reach your door, or for you to reach them.
🍬 Offer non-food treats like stickers, glow sticks or little toys.
💡 Skip the strobe lights and opt for slowly changing colours instead.

Inclusivity is all about making sure everyone feels welcome, safe and included. 💜

Let’s make this Halloween a little less scary and a lot more accessible! 🧡🖤
