🎄✨ Christmas Closure Announcement ✨🎄

As the festive season approaches, we would like to advise our clients, families and community of our upcoming Christmas closure.

Our Administration and Management Team will be taking a well-deserved break from Tuesday, 22 December 2026, returning on Monday, 11 January 2027.

During this period, emails and general enquiries may not be monitored and will be responded to upon our return.

❤️ Please rest assured that our dedicated support staff will continue providing care and support to our clients throughout the Christmas and New Year period. Our scheduled supports will continue as usual.

As we reflect on another busy year, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful clients, families and staff for their ongoing trust, patience and support.

To our incredible team who will be working throughout the festive season, thank you for your dedication and for ensuring our clients continue to receive the care and support they deserve.

An advocate can help you understand your rights, express your wishes, navigate difficult situations and ensure your voice is heard.

🌿 Advocacy is your right, not a privilege 🌿

You do not need our permission to contact an advocate, and choosing to access advocacy services will never affect the supports you receive from us.

We encourage our participants, families and representatives to understand their rights and feel confident exercising them.

Because quality support isn't just about the care we provide, it's about protecting your independence, respecting your choices and empowering you to have your say.

We’re growing our SIL team 🤍

We’re looking for compassionate, capable Support Workers to join Compassion Care Crew and provide meaningful, person-centred support within our Supported Independent Living homes in Mount Gambier.

We would particularly love to hear from applicants who already have training or experience in PEG care, catheter care and/or respiratory care, although the right person, attitude and approach will always matter to us and we can support you to obtain this additional training.

Our SIL homes operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so applicants must be genuinely available across a rotating roster, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.

At CCC, we’re looking for people who understand that great disability support is about more than completing a shift. It’s about building trust, promoting independence, respecting choice and helping people live a life that feels like their own.

At Compassion Care Crew, we believe community sport is about so much more than what happens on the field. It’s where kids build friendships, confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging.

That’s why we’re proud to support the South Indians Baseball Club and their commitment to making junior baseball more accessible for local families.

This season, U18 players pay NO club registration fees, only the cost of their insurance! Plus, all junior players will receive a 50% reimbursement of their insurance cost from the club. 🙌

And what better team to join than the back-to-back U18 premiers! 🏆🏆

We’re proud to play a small part in helping remove financial barriers and keeping our local juniors active, connected and doing what they love.
