Ela is a compassionate, well-spoken teacher and healer. She has been detoxing for over 35 years and is in the health business for over 25 years. Having overcome Immune Deficiency Disorder, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Multiple Chemical Sensitivities as well as Lymes disease and other associate health challenges, through her own research, Ela has helped countless people on their health journey. Most of her research was published on her original website 'shanti.com.au' in 1998 with her first official clinic "Shanti Village" opening in Byron in 2000. Her focus is now on teaching the art and science of Holistic Colon Hydrotherapy.

What we see during a colonic may raise questions, but it should never be presented as a medical diagnosis. Proper assessment and testing by a qualified healthcare professional are needed if Candida overgrowth or infection is suspected.

This isn’t goodbye, just a little room to grow. 🌿

After 30 years in naturopathic practice, Ela is taking a sabbatical to focus on research, writing and further learning in colon hydrotherapy and the microbiome.

Vitalis Health Clinic in Murwillumbah will be temporarily closed from 1 November 2026 until 30 March 2027, then reopen to welcome clients and continue training Healthy Gut Academy students.

During the break:
• Online consultations with Ela will remain available through the website.
• Oxy-Pure and other products will remain available from our online shop.
• All orders will be sent by mail, with no local pickup.

If you’d like a colonic before the break, please book before 1 November. You can also stock up and collect your products before the closure to save on postage.
