Cocooned by Country. Held by Gunima. 🍃

There are moments when the beauty of Country reaches somewhere deep within my spirit. When I become so aware of everything around me, and I feel an overwhelming sense of comfort, belonging and peace.

This was one of those moments.

Surrounded by the stall trees, the gentle stillness of the wadhi -bush and the mother earth - Gunima, beneath me, I felt completely held.

I looked up and took it all in. The beauty. The strength. The quiet presence of Country & our ancestors all around me.

There was nothing I needed to do, nowhere I needed to be. Just a deep feeling of being cocooned by Gunima — Mother.
That deep connection to something greater than myself. A feeling of being grounded, nurtured and completely at ease.

In that moment, I wasn’t simply surrounded by Country. I was feeling her presence, her comfort and her embrace.

And perhaps that is one of the most beautiful gifts Country gives us. The reminder that we are never separate from her. We belong to her, just as she belongs within us.

Held by Country. Nourished in spirit. At peace within myself. 🤎🌿

Indigenous Business Month is a powerful opportunity to celebrate the vision, courage, and achievements of Indigenous entrepreneurs who are creating pathways to prosperity and inspiring future generations.

When you support Indigenous businesses, you do more than make a purchase—you invest in self-determination, strengthen communities, create opportunities and help keep wealth circulating locally. You honour the knowledge, culture, innovation and resilience that shape enterprises with purpose and lasting impact.

Together, through every partnership, purchase and recommendation, you can help Indigenous businesses thrive and build a stronger future for all.

Still sitting in all the feels after an incredible weekend at the Native Food & Botanical Festival at Carriageworks, hosted by the deadly Sharon Windsor of Indigiearth . 🌿🤎

I walked away feeling deeply grateful, proud and inspired.
Because when we come together with open hearts, strong stories and a willingness to share — we don’t just rise individually, we rise collectively.
And that feeling stays with you. 🌿🤎✨
