Better care Community Support Services is a NDIS provider covering the Newcastle and Hunter region. Our Team has experience working within the health and humanities sector and provides tailormade professional and compassionate support to NDIS participants. Our nurses have extensive experience providing quality nursing care, while our support staff have various experiences making them invaluable to our organisation.

Charlotte brings a calm, caring approach to supporting participants in their everyday lives.

She enjoys supporting with community access, appointments, household tasks, meal planning, and building healthy routines. With a Certificate III in Community Services, Mental Health First Aid, and First Aid, she brings a thoughtful approach to her work.

Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys arts and crafts, exercise, and cooking. 🎨🍳

Maitland Steamfest gave us another chance to get out, explore and make some good memories together and we got to Comicon too! There’s something pretty special about seeing the people we support enjoying new experiences and being part of the community.

Meet Maca 👋

Maca provides calm, person-centred support that helps participants build independence and confidence in everyday life.

With training in Individual Support, First Aid, Manual Handling, Medication Assistance, and NDIS compliance, he supports participants with personal care, meals, household tasks, medication, and community access.

Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, boating, and hands-on projects. 🎣🚤

Turns out axe throwing brings out a very different side of the team 😂

We asked our support workers what they always have in their car.

The answers were very on brand.

🚗 water bottle (minimum two)
☕ the participant's coffee order, memorised
🎵 a playlist for every situation
🍫 snacks. always snacks.
🔋 a spare charger
☀️ sunscreen, because community access
📋 a backup plan
