JBI offers a unique range of solutions to access, appraise and apply the best available evidence. JBI is driven to improving health outcomes in communities globally by promoting and supporting the use of the best available evidence to inform decisions made at the point of care. This work begins and ends with the needs of those working in and using healthcare services. JBI responds to their questions and provides high quality, reliable information that is pragmatic and useful where it counts. This information is based on evidence that is feasible, appropriate, meaningful and effective to specific populations and settings. JBI achieves this by working with universities and hospitals from across the globe through the JBI Collaboration. In doing so JBI ensures that the research evidence we seek to synthesise, transfer and implement is culturally inclusive and relevant across the diversity of healthcare internationally. JBI promotes and supports the sustainability of improved healthcare practice and health outcomes globally by developing and delivering a range of unique evidence-based resources, software, education and training.

🆕 Hotus- 5/2026: työkaluna, ei päätöksentekijänä: ihmiset näyttöön perustuvan terveydenhuollon ytimessä 📌

Mihin tietoon voimme luottaa❓
Mitä tekoälylle kannattaa antaa tehtäväksi ja mikä kuuluu edelleen ihmiselle❓

🔍 Tekoäly lisää tutkimusnäytön saatavuutta nopeammin kuin koskaan. M***a nopeus ei yksin takaa tiedon luotettavuutta.

🎙️ This , we're delighted to share a special episode of the JBI Talking Evidence podcast, exploring Inclusive Science Communication and AI.

In this episode, Bianca Pilla, Director of Global Relations at JBI, founding member of World EBHC Day and Chair of its Steering Committee, joins Heather McCulloch, Communications Coordinator at JBI, Chair of the World EBHC Day Communications Committee and member of the Steering Committee, to explore this year's theme, Evidence and AI: People at the Centre, through the lens of science communication.

Together, Bianca and Heather discuss the opportunities and challenges AI presents for inclusive science communication, sharing three key takeaways for listeners.

One important takeaway? AI is a double-edged sword. When used responsibly, it can improve efficiency and accessibility. However, it can also generate false references and reinforce existing biases related to gender, race and disability.

🎧 Tune in to hear the full conversation and discover how we can keep people at the centre of evidence, AI and science communication.
