I've worked with hundreds of women over 35 years.
And one of the most common things I hear โ across all ages, all backgrounds โ is some version of this:
"They told me everything was fine. Yet I knew something wasn't right."
Women's symptoms are more likely to be attributed to stress, anxiety or just how things are.
Chronic pain gets dismissed.
Fatigue gets normalised.
Emotional overwhelm gets medicated without investigation.
I'm not here to criticise the medical system โ it does extraordinary things.
Yet I am here to say:
You know your body.
And if you've been told "there's nothing wrong" when everything in you says there is โ that experience deserves to be taken seriously.
The brain-body connection is real.
The signals your body sends are real.
Your lived experience is real.
Understanding what's happening at the nervous system level often explains what no test has been able to.
If you've been dismissed and you're still looking for answers, visit enzalyons.com.au โ let's have an honest conversation.
