At our recent PD day we discussed the unvaccinated child. This link is a great resource for parents. Understanding the symptoms of infectious diseases, allows parents to advocate for their child and identify concerns early. Many health professionals have not seen these conditions due to vaccination largely eliminating many of them. There is a resurgence of these conditions due to lower vaccination rates. Health professionals could also find this resource useful.

Serious infectious diseases can cause severe illness in children. Even if treated, some of these diseases can have life-long effects on the children who catch them.

Congratulations Stephanie and Anita!

As technology evolves, so do the ways we keep our schools safe.

Smart glasses are now banned on WA government school premises and at school-organised events and activities, helping to protect the privacy, wellbeing and safety of students, staff and families.

Exemptions apply for approved medical, accessibility, assistive technology and authorised educational uses.
