Celebrating National Carer’s Week

Dates: 11th to 17th October 2026 🖤🩷

Theme: “Care for a carer: Making carers visible”

Purpose: This movement recognises and celebrates more than 3 million Australians who give unpaid care to family members or friends who need support due to disability, medical conditions, mental illness, or old age. 🖤🩷

Today Charlie's Support Services Angels Pty Ltd wishes to recognise all family members of the participants we support and a special shout out to our amazing army of devoted support workers who proudly serve their participants with complete compassion and professionalism. 🖤🩷

Paid or unpaid, working as a carer/support worker requires dedication and commitment and turning up is just the starting point to the outcome you contributed to daily.

💚 World Cerebral Palsy Day 💚

Tuesday 6th October

World Cerebral Palsy Day is a worldwide movement. Every year on the 6th of October, people come together to recognise, celebrate, and take action for those living with CP. 💚

Cerebral Palsy (CP) is the most common lifelong physical disability, affecting a person's ability to walk, move, or communicate. It is caused by an injury to the developing brain, but every individual’s experience with cerebral palsy is unique. Some people require lifelong support, while others live independently. 💚

Today we celebrate all the incredible Father figures who make a difference in our lives.

To the Dads, Stepdads, Grandfathers, Foster dads, Uncles, Mentors and those special men who have stepped up and loved, guided, supported and protected us — thank you! 🩵💙

We also pay our respects to all women who may have held this role quite significantly - thank you! 🩷💜

Parenthood isn’t always about biology. Sometimes it’s simply about being there, showing up, lending a helping hand, sharing a laugh, offering advice, or being the person someone knows they can always count on. So today, we celebrate every man figure or woman figure who has made a positive difference in someone’s life!

Hello to all our staff and participants! This post is to advise you all that we have our midterm audit approaching end of November. This audit is specifically designed to ensure that we have kept up with all our obligations from when we gained our registration in May 2025!

As a registered service provider, this mid-term review is a routine check to ensure our systems, safety measures, and daily supports continue to meet required quality standards. Unlike initial setup audits, the auditors are primarily looking at evidence of implementation—meaning they want to see how our everyday actions match our written policies.

So let’s keep up the good work and daily progress and ensure we meet the right standards of operation!
