Monday Gratitude 🧡

Some things change us.

Healing doesn’t always mean going back to who you were before — sometimes it means becoming someone new.

And that’s okay.

This is just a chapter, not the whole story. ✨

🌼 Endometriosis: You Don’t Have to Suffer in Silence

Endometriosis affects 1 in 9 people assigned female at birth and can cause debilitating pain, fatigue, bloating, and issues with bladder, bowel, or fertility.

It’s not “just bad period pain” — it’s a chronic condition that deserves real support.

At Palms Allied Health, our experienced team offers Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Exercise Physiology to help you:
✅ Manage pelvic pain with manual therapy & real-time ultrasound biofeedback
✅ Support movement, energy, and daily function
✅ Improve core and pelvic floor strength
✅ Navigate fatigue, flare-ups, and chronic pain
✅ Build a plan around you — not just your symptoms

🧡 Our Principal Physiotherapist Kirsty is trained in continence & pelvic health — with a special interest in pre- and post-natal and pelvic health.

💛 You deserve care that listens, understands, and helps you thrive — even with endo.

Pelvic floor physio doesn’t automatically mean internal assessment. 💛

Internal vaginal or re**al assessment can sometimes provide useful information, but it is never compulsory. Your physio should explain why they’re suggesting it, what it involves, and get your consent first.

There are also plenty of external assessment and treatment options, including looking at breathing, abdominal and pelvic movement, posture, strength, movement patterns and symptoms.

Same goes for TMJ work — treatment can often start externally, and any intra-oral assessment or treatment should only happen if it’s clinically appropriate and you’re comfortable with it.

Your body, your choice. We can work with you at your pace. 💚

For pelvic floor physio please book with Kirsty at Noranda ❤️

💚 **Happy OT Week 2026!** 💚

This year’s theme is **Participation Matters** - and that really sums up what Occupational Therapy is all about.

OTs support people to take part in the everyday things that matter to them.... whether that’s getting ready for the day, going to school or work, playing, cooking, getting out into the community, building independence or simply doing more of what brings meaning to life.

A big shoutout to our wonderful Palms OT team and all the OTs doing such important work every day. 💚

Monday Gratitude 🤍

Sometimes losing people, places or things we thought were meant for us turns out to be a blessing we couldn’t see at the time.

Be grateful for what stayed, what left, and what made space for something better. ✨

Another NDIS update… and everyone is back to reading the fine print 😐💻

From 1 October 2026, some NDIS supports are subject to funding reductions, including:

🔻 50% reduction to relevant Social, Economic & Community Participation funding
🔻 10% reduction to relevant Improved Daily Living Skills funding

Not everyone will be affected in the same way, so it’s important to check how the changes apply to your individual plan.
