There is plenty of time for self reflection, in the peak of our emotions often what is required of us is to focus on what is right in front of us in this physical life 🫶🏽 and to keep things really simple, knowing the waves shall ease and with a more neutral frame of mind we can reassess

~ Confusion ~ lack of clarity

Something we feel often, that can be uncomfortable to experience

There can be more than one reason why we feel this way, reasons could be to name a few (some overlap):

⭐️ We are overwhelmed / disregulated and cannot hear ourselves
⭐️ There is too much information
⭐️ There is not enough information
⭐️ Other people’s opinions are clouding our judgement
⭐️ There are many directions, some certain and some not
⭐️ This is new territory we are navigating
⭐️ Something is out of alignment
⭐️ We have gone through or are in a busier than usual time in life

When we can break it down and ask ourselves better questions or have someone do this for us, we can process and make more sense of situations

When we allow ourselves space or create this, we can shift from a racing mind to more of a grounded space

Perhaps we need more information, or perhaps we need to take in less information or perspectives from others

What we don’t need to do, is add pressure to ourselves forcing clarity to come, from a place of reprimand, when we are perplexed it’s easy to want to shift further ahead to figure everything out which can create anxiety

It can be surprising how much clarity can come in when we allow ourselves some grace and acceptance

Situations vary, what a person requires varies depending on who they uniquely are, like many things in life one size does not fit all, however the fundamentals are similar and we all do experience this

When big things are shifting, that can bring big emotions, letting those waves settle, and the time that takes varies too depending on what it is, my motto is not to make decisions from a heightened or lower energy and to wait for some sort of normal for us

Perhaps we are shifting away from something that is safe towards something more risky

Decision making is a part of life, either way we learn about ourselves, loosing touch with our inner knowing doesn’t mean that we cannot regain that connection, most things are not for certain we can make the next best choice, and flow with change and conditions 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

5 myths about bodywork or specifically Māori Healing 🫶🏽

👉🏼 Bodywork isn’t just for processing big traumatic experiences, it can help us to regulate our nervous system (deeply in a life changing way) and to process any energy that the body has been holding throughout life, it can simultaneously help us to create capacity to uplevel our lives and to call in more

👉🏼 Somatic practices get a wrap for being woo woo and super spiritual, Māori healing is a cultural practice however we are focusing on connecting with the body and what it needs from a neutral place

👉🏼 That leads me to who it’s for, traditionally these modalities were shared within our culture, more progressively they are shared with all nationalities and walks of life, I come from a place of welcoming all beliefs

👉🏼 As an experienced practitioner, when we connect I am being lead by the clients edges in terms of how we work with the body, creating a safe space for the body to open up. We also explore the stories and attachment we have to ‘pain’. We experience enough violation in our lives, and that is not what this is about at all it’s about feeling empowered

👉🏼 We may meet for a reason (once), a season when support is required over a period of time, or this may become and ongoing part of life for the client, on my personal journey I’ve learnt that healing takes time and attuning to the bodywork

Have you received Māori Healing or bodywork before?

What were your preconceived ideas about it if any?
And how was your experience?

This practice is experiential, if you have questions please feel free to pop them in the comments below or to DM me

Hey beautiful people

It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself, so here goes for the new faces 👋🏽

Welcome to this page! I appreciate you being here and hope to share themes and perspectives that help to create ripples of positive light in your lives ❤️

My name is Jaime, originally from New Zealand of Ngāti Kahungunu iwi/tribe, I moved to Perth in 2011 for a change of scenery and have been here ever since where I’ve met my life partner and had 4 beautiful children.

Being a mother this has helped me to understand the importance of how each persons energy weaves and interacts, and I am specifically passionate about clearing inter generational trauma as this has been a big part of my journey.

The ongoing healing process ignited my passion for bodywork as it has changed my life for the better in many ways

I have a natural ability to tune into what people are experiencing and to feel what the body is holding, to facilitate deep shifts and activations within this lifetime and other realms.

I was drawn to Miri Miri and Romi Romi 7 years ago and have shared it since, in person, online and through events.

I have been publicly sharing healing for a decade and have trained in other modalities such as:
Reiki,
Lomi Lomi
Intuitive Enhancement
Shamanic Healing
Astrology & Human Design
Internal Family Systems
Counselling (in progress)

I’ve been a mentor for Māori Healing, and have worked with in charities that support the community.

My background has been in corporate, fitness and nutrition as a coach and part gym owner The Tribe STM - Gym Bibra Lake

I’m here to create a safe space, to listen and to provide neutrality and non judgement 🫶🏽

My work is available online or in person located at Bibra Lake Perth

Current Sessions:

What an honour it is to share 🌀

“Every session brings through exactly what my mind and body need to shift and every session is unique to what I’m moving through at the time.

I leave our sessions feeling completely realigned, clear-headed, and lighter in my body”.
