Welcome to the team, Sandi-leigh Norris Para Equestrian 💙

We're so proud to welcome Sandi-Leigh Norris to the Stable & Grounded Athlete team.

Sandi-Leigh is Dressage rider on the Australian High Performance Squad, working towards the Brisbane 2032 Paralympics in para dressage. She's also a qualified coach who has spent years quietly supporting other para riders with their mindset, because she knows first hand that how we think is just as important as how we ride.

Her story is one of persistence. She is coming back to riding after a period of rehabilitation which we are glad to support her through and she has never stopped chasing excellence.

At Stable & Grounded, we believe the rider deserves as much investment as the horse. Sandi-Leigh lives that every day, and we can't wait to support her on the road to 2032, and to learn alongside her.

Please join us in giving her the warmest welcome.

Ever feel like your riding falls apart at shows? 🤔

You're not alone! Many riders excel at home but struggle when it counts.

Let's break this down:

- You might feel your horse tense up in warm-up.
- You could forget your test or ride a familiar line like it’s brand new.
- Sometimes, it’s just that moment when the bell rings, and your body reacts unexpectedly.

When this happens, it’s easy to look for solutions in new gear or clinics. But if the issue lies within you, those changes won’t help.

Instead of spending another season chasing the wrong fixes, let’s focus on bridging that gap between practice and performance.

What strategies have you found helpful to stay calm and focused at shows? Share your thoughts below!

What if that replies that you prioritized over doing the thing for yourself and you know it’s gonna make you spiral for the rest of the day or the rest of the week? What if you just waited to open that message or didn’t reply for the next couple of hours while you went to the gym or you went for your horse ride or you did your little meditation or you’re little mental health walk. What if Just once this week you put yourself first

You ride well at home. Then show day comes, and it feels like someone else is in the saddle.

That gap isn’t a flaw. It’s information, and the end of the season is the best time to look at it properly.

The 2027 Season Reset is a guided workbook, a video from me and three audio visualisations. Together they help you look back on 2026 as a rider, not just your horse’s season, and build a plan for 2027 that suits how you actually work.

Three sessions, about an hour each. $49.

Join before 29 November and you’re invited to a live Q&A with me on 2 December.

Feeling the pressure of competition? You're not alone!

Every rider knows that competition brings a unique set of challenges.
There's an audience, a judge, a time limit, and often, people you want to impress.
Your body picks up on all this pressure, affecting how you breathe, how you hold your hands, and even how you sit in the saddle.

But here's the truth: that gap you feel isn't a flaw.
It's valuable information! It shows you exactly where your preparation, routines, and support need to evolve.

That's what the season reset is all about.
Let's embrace the journey together and make those necessary changes!

What adjustments are you planning to make in the 2027 season? Share your thoughts below!
