This is Nikkita, the nurse practitioner behind NC Clinical, formerly NC Clinical ~ Aesthetics, Women’s & Preventative Health PRESTON She runs her injectables from inside Seamless and she is our go to for anything in that world.
She has let us document the whole thing, and this is day one.
Her concerns, in her words: redness, skin that has become sensitised and dehydrated, and pigmentation.
Swipe and you can see all three. Under UV the pigment shows up long before it reaches the mirror. The brown map and the red map then split the problem in two, because pigment and vascular sit in different layers and do not answer to the same treatment. Chasing pigment on inflamed, compromised skin is how people end up worse off than when they started.
So there are three things on the list, and we work on one at a time.
→ The barrier. Strong enough to hold a result and hydrated enough to stop the flaring, with barrier strengthening facials and the Hydrating Lactobotanical Peel.
→ Pigment. What is on the surface, and the deeper pigment the scan picked up, with the PCA Pigment Correcting Peel, SkinPen Elite, and the two stacked.
→ Vascular redness. The vessels, and the background flush sitting underneath them.
Never all three at once. We rescan as we go, so the plan moves with her skin rather than the other way around.
Follow along, because you will see every step of this one.
