I am now a Mother!

I have a totally new found appreciation for the raw power of women, for midwives, for the intelligence of babies and the healing power of plants.

Life feels very different on the other side and it is way better than I could have ever imagined!

I am still finding my feet in terms of how best to share my work and authentic self in the world so for now I will start with

🌿 Regular stallholding at the Farmers Market in Mildura - debut is this Saturday, 3rd October Sunraysia Farmers and Makers Market
✨️ How I am personally working with plants as medicine, lots of new learnings to share!
🪶 Mailing List Musings, likely 6 weekly instead of monthly, sign up through my link in bio.
🦋 Monthly Mildura Homemakers Swap
Our next meetup is Saturday, 10th October at 10:30 at Karoo Cottage Plants.

I so look forward to connecting again.

Big love,

Alyce

Introducing The Artemisia Body Balm, our # 1 Women's Health Formula.

We set out with the idea of developing a ridiculously easy to apply and mess free "castor oil pack" style medicine to support womb + digestive health for women at all ages and stages.

This deep green body balm is a blend of Mugwort Herbal Infused Castor + Olive Oil with Beeswax in an 80ml roll up tube.

Designed to be applied daily as a nourishing and tonifying womb balm offering warmth, protection, and gentle stimulation of blood flow to your vital reproductive and digestive organs.

For a deeper healing experience, apply a thick layer over the abdomen, cover with natural fabric and a warm compress or hot water bottle for 30 minutes while resting comfortably.

Castor Oil is thick and viscous which penetrates into the organs and tissues most effectively with warmth and time.

This balm can be applied to the abdomen throughout the post-partum period with gentle compression to support cleansing, restoration and deep organ nourishment following childbirth.

Bonus points for being a supportive herbal ally for tender, swollen and painful breasts.

We are so excited for what this beautiful medicine can do to support the health, healing and well-being for all women and wombs!

Lady Artemisia • Artemisia Vulgaris • Mugwort

This herb is typically my go to first line of treatment for menstrual and womb healing partly due to her extensive history and use as a women's herb but also because she can address many interconnected imbalances throughout various organ systems.

Herbs are never a one size fits all and healing is a very nuanced and personal experience which can greatly depend on how the herbs are taken, in what frequency, form, dose and consistency.

When reflecting on my own journey over many years of working with Artemisia I have enjoyed her medicine as a tea, tincture, essence, hydrosol, spice, smoke, suppository, balm and herbal oil.

As a nightly tea I have loved how Artemisia has detoxified my digestive system and blood, lending to a transformed and pain free menstrual cycle.

As an oil and balm I have felt deeply grounded, protected and supported throughout all phases of my cycle. The direct application of herbal oil has facilitated deeper body connection, pain relief, warmth, stimulation of circulation and significantly improved menstrual flow.

This really is one incredible herb who can truly do it all!

Something I am proud to promise is that our herbal preparations are 100% organic and magickally crafted, made in small batches by these 2 hands right here.

We source, grow and wild harvest over 90% of our herbals on the ground in Australia to ensure maximum medicinal potency & plant healing power. I trust you'll feel the difference.
